i was a little late coming to the Pink Floyd thing , i was more into House/rave type music when i was young

i remember a friend that was an even later convert than i

Friend puts on some house music, (tainted love mix)

Me> have you got any proper music
Friend> proper music like what ?
Me> Pink Floyd
Friend> no i have not got any pink Floyd but ill ask my dad

dad surprisingly finds a copy of DSOTM almost immediately

Dad > don't take this outside of the fucking house or ill kill you

good times lol

my parents were big country peps.. like i said earlier, i can get into some of the older country stuff, including mr twitty, and of course the man in black..
I would give up all my 98 summer tour for one chance to see Johnny cash..seriously...and,I would tweak out with him if I could, even tho I said never again,I'd stay up a week playing guitar with him!!!!

So covering Bach isn't lame?...
Don't get me wrong,Frank kicked ass,and peaches en regalia killed Bach.:-D

Frank had more talent in tuning up than Bach had playing..,and playing anything other than his songs was exactly that..a tune up :-D

Watermellon in easter hay. Best single composition i have ever heard by anyone ever.

Saw Dan hicks and the licks in 72.

Saw them again 35 Years later. He was as good, his licks, not so much.

Winterland, SF, Ca was my main tripping venue in the '70's. Some of the best shows I've seen in the Bay Area were Emerson, Lake, and Palmer; Alvin Lee with Ten Years After; Manfred Mann; and King Crimsom to name a few. Went to Winterland the night before they closed and almost cried. Hated to see that place close.
