Give the Pit time to cure Ambs. Mine also has a subtle smell at harvest but comes through nicely after curing. I think the taste is better than the smell as well.

Livers is a clone only from the UK. Livers is also known as Blues (mainly in the Sheffield area it's called Blues from what I understand). Jake was a skunk leaning Deep Blue male (not Livers). Livers was used in the cross to create the Deep Blue strain. The Blue Pit f2 that I have comes out with a very blue tinge to the bud. The flowers are more spear like rather than the Xmas tree type Dog buds you get. Although when you look at the flower you can still see the dog shining through. The taste and smells are a good hybrid combo of the two with quite a unique sweet taste being delivered when you smoke it. The kush/earthy tone is really in the background on this pheno (but then the plan was not really to create just another kush tasting weed). It's not exactly the most pleasant smelling weed I have (but then I have never really smelled a great smelling pooch - of the 4 legged variety anyway, lol). But the sweet smoke is spot on for me. Delivers both a racey high and a stoney feel which I quite like during the day, rather than wanting to just sit down on the couch. The pheno I have finishes in just over 8 weeks (less if you want).

I miss my livers cut.

man i could smoke that stuff all day. there's some fine throwback genes in the clone only strains, nailing them down can be tricky though. the 2 toke killer was half livers & half our psycho killer, was from literally one pip out of about 30-40 popped. never found the same since. was a little leafy for commercial but still ok worth it for the hash and the taste. fruity sweet mmm nomnomnmom

haha... I went and picked up some new beans (coffee) to play with. i'm gonna see how far i can take it then regret it not sleep and do it again when i forget how bad it was. also familiar right?

I aint got anywhere to play with any cuts atm. :roll:
