They both are bad artists imo, but, have very important places in musical history(I mean,Keith Richards had to quell his bi-curious cocaine addicted inner self somehow :-D)
bowie a bad artist? really? i'm not a huge fan, but i wouldn't say he's a bad artist.. bad artists don't usually last for years and years, oh wait, i always forget about the dead, lol.

Bad artists with lots of money last...look at Cher,or puffy...
The dead will last forever.as long as reporters who have bad education run to the catch all "long strange trip" phrase, they'll be referenced at least...
..say what you want, but there's no "Henry Rollins" channel on sirius radio :-D

I have three.
Ani DiFranco. I hated Face Up and Sing for almost 20 years. Last year I bought it on iTunes and have now made my wife listen to it about a hundred times.
Billy Joel. Hated him because all I had heard was Uptown Girl. Then I heard Captain Jack. Enough said I think.
Bryan Adams. Because he's Bryan Adams, and that's the way that happens.

you're in va right rorry? i've been more than a few times, used to go to manasas every may and september for the good old bug outs held on memorial day and labor day weekends..
Manassas is lower Baltimore,bwahaha!
You'll get the dead one day..think of your raver days, but more communal, closer knit, with morals and values, better drugs, more nudity, longer shows, and the best part,it all happens again tomorrow evening in another city, all summer long..the music will grow on you too...
I'd rather you be in a smartass mood than a dumb ass mood :-D...I understand being a smartass!

Ani difranco has cornered a niche market..no one else yet has come up with music that angry rejected lesbians will listen to and buy other than Ellen's Christmas album..

Can't say much about Brian Adams,I was never castrated so I never had a reason to listen :-D
