That is how we should be communicating our fears and concerns. That is the expected reaction. You are automatically assuming that making cartoons equals death.

Don't be so scared...we, as a society, must stand up to these people to let them know their backward ideology is not compatible with western ideals and must be changed if they wish to remain functional within it.

I meant new as it terrorists attacking on smaller scale (one or two self described jihadists picking off an office bldg. in Paris, in Austrailia, a mall in Kenya, courthouse in Canada) vs. huge scale 911 style or crashing plane attacks which require more orchestration and more people involved in planning and carrying out. In the Sony case, no loss of life but major security breach and messing up an entire corporation.
And if my post came off as insensitive (for appearing to compare Sony's or Rogan's lost revenue to Paris' loss of life) I'm sorry about that. It wasn't the comparison I was intending to make.
Yes, all Catholic Christians, but after that excommunication came reformation (Protestants) and then a split within Christianity. So I am not sure that ALL muslims are against non-muslims.
