if all conditions are met, you mean.Co2 is not waste by any means!! The natural air has about 300ppm of Co2, but plants grow best at about 1500ppm of Co2. So raising the ppm by 1200ppm will have a great affect on them.
You don't need a sealed room, you just need to turn off your exhaust fans while your plants are in their Co2 enriched environment. A 20min session 10 times a day will cause a tremendous amount of growth.
no, that's not what i mean. if you don't have an optimal/controlled environment, then you're just wasting money. sure, your plant will have more co2 available, but will it be able to utilize it? co2 isn't a magic bullet. used correctly, as you said, you'll see amazing results. that means all your co2 gear/grow gear is hooked up to your expensive electrical controllers and such. that means a sealed room. unless the temps. are correct, your plant isn't going to be able to process the increased co2 levels. you need to maintain the room at 82-87 (not sure on the exact temps.) so the stomata will open wider. the only way to run these higher temps. is by using co2. if not, then you run the risk of airy/fluffy buds that'll burn like tumbleweeds. if the temps. aren't correct, it doesn't matter how much co2 you put in the room. the plant won't be able to use it. i think i'll exit this thread now, it's beginning to get hostile! If you mean all conditions like light, water, nutes, etc, then yes. If not, I don't know what you mean.
Dude, you are officially the biggest douche bag on RIU. First off, lets look at this quote shall we?co2 is in the air, everywhere. when plants get thick and bushy, co2 gets scarce inside the leaves/branches. fans exchange the air inside the plants leaves/branches, which supplies co2. in nature, as you mention, the wind isn't always blowing now is it? as a matter of fact, days could pass without any wind. yet these plants, and their weak stems, (LOL) survive. humidity levels are controlled by dehuey's/humidifiers, not fans. if you have access to fresh air then there's need to buy expensive co2 equipment. unless your room is sealed, a co2 system is pretty much a waste. i doubt if many here have sealed rooms.
FANS DO NOT PRODUCE C02! And the amount of C02 in your room isn't enough to even really benefit the plant dumb ass. A fan doesn't give the plant c02, it's there to circulate air and to keep your plants stems healthy. How many grows have you actually done? I don't think you really know what you are talking about.the reason you place a fan on plants is to give them air/co2, not toughen it's stems.
The fans help keep the room stable. Too much humidity and no fans could leave you with moldy bud. humidifier just raises the humidity, I know what they do smart ass.humidity levels are controlled by dehuey's/humidifiers, not fans.
Most growers, including myself, don't have OPEN WINDOWS in their grow rooms, so how the fuck are you suppose to get fresh air into the room?if you have access to fresh air then there's need to buy expensive co2 equipment.
LMFAO @ YOU! c02 is not a waste, how what the fuck are you talking about people not having sealed rooms? You are a complete moron and I suggest you do yourself a favor and not post anymore.a co2 system is pretty much a waste. i doubt if many here have sealed rooms.
. .... let me guess, 19 yr. old male, still living at home with mommy and daddy.
Wrong again. LMFAO! One pound from 6 plants - that ain't shit! If you did it right, you should have gotten at least a qp from each plant. My maturity? You are the one that posted some ridiculous ass shit from the get go - which we all know you were wrong.i remember when i was a teenager. mouth always flopping. i suggest that next semester you take a reading comprehension course. fans circulate air. co2 is in air. air, as in the massive amount that's in your head. for most growers, the amount of co2 that occurs naturally, is sufficient for growing. i'm not one to toot my own horn, but i have been growing for over 5 years and have never gotten less than an elbow from 6 plants under 1000 watts. never used a co2 set-up. i have on occasion though, used a hand held co2 cartridge tire inflator to apply co2. i stopped using it though, cause i never had the correct temps. for it to be beneficial. you don't have to have a window in your grow room. as long as you have the correct cfm fan exchanging the air in the room, you'd be fine. you know junior, there's no need to become an ass when making a point. you're really showing your immaturity. let me guess, 19 yr. old male, still living at home with mommy and daddy.
hahahahaha
now thats funny
*dies laughing*Now for you you douche bag. You came in here asking a question and I helped you out. Now you are trying to laugh at what this fucking moron said about me?
YOU FAIL!
Plus rep for you!i leave my fan on 24/7. i am concerned otherwise the air will get stagnant and the girls will be unhappy. i'm hoping it helps deter critters especially the flying kind.
Hi emptypool1 - like most things with growing ... it depends.should i leave my fan on all hours,
or should i turn it off when i turn the lights off?
Couldn't have said it better myself.First - I can't believe someone is arguing against CO2. not sure where Silky Shagsalot is getting his info but he is mistaken.
Well, since the wind doesnt blow for days outside, i guess its ok to not even have a fan. Weak unsupportive stems are good for the plant. More CO2 for the... uhhh... buds? LMAO.What's up goodbye? What are your thoughts on fans helping stem structure? If you give the right answer, welcome to TLB!
BTW...
Squid billies ROCK!
LOL...nice.Well, since the wind doesnt blow for days outside, i guess its ok to not even have a fan. Weak unsupportive stems are good for the plant. More CO2 for the... uhhh... buds? LMAO.
And yes, Squidbillies is the SHIT!!! lol
