i was wondering if it was possible to grow a pound a month undetectable? i was thinking i would be good with only a pound a month to smoke. also it will not be in an legal state for rec or medicinal, so undetectable must be a must. what do you consider water cooled lights im already looking at IR Blockers 97%. But i guess im pretty paranoid also im thinking to pull 1 pound a month i would need either 2-3 HPS 1000w is this true? i will have stages but it will all be in one single room.

Holy shit I must be a light weight going through an ounce a month.

A perpetual setup in reality cannot exist with this kind of yield without veg/clone areas.

A pound a month will require at least 3x600w flowering areas.

Each light with around 3 weeks apart on the stage of the plants growth.

For example.

Light 1 - week 1-3 of 12/12

Light 2 - week 4-6 of 12/12

Light 3 - week 7-9 of 12/12

You'll need a mother to supply you with clones for each new round under each light. Clones take an average of 2 weeks to root using either 24/0 or 18/6.

Easiest way to achieve a pound per light is using 4-6 plants per light given around 4-6 weeks of veg and then flowered.

This gives you the least number of plants to look after cutting down the work and time spent in the grow area.

Then comes trimming.

I can trim a pound on my own in about 1-2 hours per plant. So about 8 hours total.

If you can smoke 4 to 5 ozs a week .... that's some shitty quality smoke .
Taking care of that many plants including harvesting them would be a full time job in itself. Unless you live out in the country where smell would not be an issue , there is no way you are going to hide that kind of smell . You are dreaming too big. Too big of an operation to keep a secrete .

I dont think its too big to keep a secret, but its going to be a big investment and its going to take a lot of space. Also, I agree with everyone else - if you need a pound a month, you need to slow down. I dont know your situation, but thats a ton of smoke.

Man you must wake up in the am and start rolling. I think it would be nearly impossible to smoke this much in a pipe in a month. Let's see, 454 gms. Let's say 2 gms. per joint, nice sized doobie, is 227 joints \30 is about 7.6 joints per day. Time to move on to hash or concentrate I'd say, pound a month is pretty harsh on the old lungs. If you really want to get high you need some 50-70% THC stuff.

You don't need three flower rooms to pull a pound a month. Just two flower rooms/tents with 400 or 600 watters, though to pull a pound with a 400 you'll really have to know your shit. You'll also need separate veg room/tent.

And why lie about smoking a pound a month? This is a weed growing forum and you best believe a lot of the mofos on here are no stranger to offing a bag for profit.

But like others have said and from my own experience, running a perpetual garden is a full time job. If you got a girl that lives with you, kids, friends and family stopping by, or you live within 20-30 yards of your closest neighbor, then I say you will fail at pulling a pound a month undetected. Can fans make noise and weed stink and worst of all is egos/hubris.

A pound a month i think ur smokin more then week my buddy had 2 1000 watt hps in a hydro system with 30 plants going and.only cropped a pound in two months

I harvest 2 plants a week with my perpetual grow. I grow short bushy indicas that veg for 4-5 weeks and flower from 6-7 weeks. These short fast-growing plants yield 30-35 grams cured/per. So I'm curing a half-pound a month, I guess. My facility --

* Dome "room" is 2 shelves in a closet with 2 dome/mat set-ups and a 75W bulb going 24/7.
* Veg room is 4 x 6-feet space in the laundry room. 400W MH bulb going 20/4. Usually holds 10-12 plants at any one time.
* Flower room is 8 x 8-feet with a 1000W HPS bulb running 12/12. Average size is 12-14 plants at a time.

I could adjust my grow to accomodate larger plants that yield more, but I like the way I'm presently set up. Remember to figure that your flowering space will need to be 3-4 times as large as your vegging space. Hope this helps.

PS -- My finishing plants average 80% self-derived via cloning, 10% seedlings and 10% re-grows. With re-grows you can take off a week of veg time and a week off flower times. They are a perpetual growers' best friend!
