Here in Colorado, there is no such thing as a grow shop that can't help you- and stays open all day. In the beginning there were, but those amateurs got slaughtered by professional operations that actually track and stock what growers ask for and buy regularly. And if it's not in stock, it's at the other store/distributor and it will be there in two days or less.

That said, I get much better equipment and much better pricing at hardware stores- who operate the same way, or they get their ass run out of business by those who do. Period.

Thank you for showing me that great selection, reasonable prices and intelligent management are not things I should take for granted.

Yup! You better believe it! In the UK and US we have so much choice. Over here it's fucking ridiculous.

The staff can be quite useless. Here's an example of shopping on Wednesday. I went into La Perla, which is an expensive underwear shop. The staff try and pounce on you before you are even in the door. So I asked the helpful twit what the smallest back size was.

She then proceeded to pass me a bra with a 38" back which is huge. 34" back is average. I went through the numbers with her again in Spanish and the stupid idiot got me another 38"!!! At this point I'm looking at my bf like wtf!? "Mira a mi cuerpo! Tengo un espalda muy pequeña y este es enorme". Then she finally found out that 32" was the smallest back size. We left.

Top underwear shop and the staff don't even know their range of sizes.

Shop assistants here are fucking impolite, disrespectful and inefficient in general, at least from my experience. Well not at small shops and etc.
Lol can you believe the grow shop frucked up my order for airstones?! Who the fuck in the world uses 30mm airstones?!?! I didnt even know they existed. I go so mad they gave me a box full of free stuff, ph calibration liquids, salt clearing solutions and a life time supply of pipettes and shit lol.
Yo @lahadaextranjera maybe we should think about opening a grow shop show these kids how its done! And its true about the petrol stations. i used to work at one lol. I was shocked at the amount of walker, yorkie, lucozade and daily mails i sold!

It's a bit inconvenient when you like to wake up at 10-11am everyday. I live by my light cycles which start at 11am.

I came back from the centre starving and had to wait til 5pm for the shitty supermarket to open!

Klite- did they give you 4.01 ph? I bought a bottle of 7.01 today, no more sobres!!

The shopping centers are open all day so that's one good thing.

Klite- the inventory to do a hydro shop would be unbelievable. They all order from Planta Sur anyway. Location would be key to a successful shop though.

Ive always got ph calibration stuff if youre desperate for a few ml.
Though if youre a real pro you can tell the exact ph by tasting the solution alone, think @Finshaggy did a thread about it?
