Room is approx. 5x5 with 8ft. Ceiling... I've been doing a lot of research over the past few months on growing equipment, methods, ect. and I'm finally ready and financially able to purchase equip and start growing.. my goal is to only grow 2-3 plants at a time, as organically as possible with quality being the main goal over quantity... looking for suggestions/input on the best way to go about assembling the room and with what products to do it with??? Any and all knowledge is appreciated

I am leaning towards HPS or MH, but I'm still not sure if a small grow like I'm trying to accomplish is best suited with HPS/MH or LED... I've read opinions and reviews from both sides and both make logical points

I concur on A51. Awesome for small grow. You don't need 5x5 but if like me, you wll end up expanding.

I built my own tent out of PVC and Reflectix. Basic fan filter combo, oscillating fan and good to go.

If you are a control freak, you may want to consider a more neutral soil mix where you control the nutes. I am an organic guy in the kitchen but use synthetic nutes for ease. Some day I will upgrade, but for now I use Dyna-Gro.

One thing you will want to add is a separate clone/veg area. It not only increases annual yield, but also makes cloning vs popping seeds viable, or maybe you can buy clones if in a legal area.

Nonetheless, impatience kicks in. I now have a DIY drying area (made out of a big cardboard box) because I ddn't want to shut the tent down a few days for drying.

Good luck!!!

Impatience is my biggest obstacle!!! I'm trying to do my research thoroughly before I decide to make the plunge.... I'm planning on using FFOF + Happy frog w\ minimal amounts of nutes.... How many area51 panels do you think I would need?

Thanks for the info GrowinDad!!! I was originally planning on gettin a Gavita Pro 600/750e,but I think I'm liking the idea of LED panels for small applications like mine

If I were you I would use a 1000 watt hps for a 5x5 space. You could get by with a 600/750 but I would not go with the LED. Well amended organic soil will deliver the quality your looking for. Good luck!
