damprid looks legit and you can get it at bunnings (aussie home depot) ...

BUT does it affect the smell/taste of your flowers? people warn you not to put ona odour control products in the same space as your grow, interested to know if the damprid could have any negative effects

im a definite noob to the whole grow arena, but I have read most of the internets, and in multiple places people advise against putting ona near your plants. the synopsis is:

ona is not a odour masking agent or perfume, it acts as an odour neutralising agent - as such the active ingredients (essential oils etc) that are released by ona products BIND TO and NEUTRALISE odourous molecules in the treated area. If your flowers are in the treated area, the ona binds to them too and f's up yo produce.

Put ona outside your grow zone to mop up any escaping smell, and make sure ona-rised air doesn't get into your grow.

Back to the damprid - if you have an active ventilation system is the damprid going to help at all? Im thinking of pouring some of the refill granules into my intake air ducting to dry out my incoming air as well as leaving a bucket of it in the grow room itself...
