You do realize that your link actually has nothing to do with intelligence and is making a point about rational choices right?

Does Merriam Webster not know what IQ is, but you do? Are you really trying to convince us that people with high IQ's are really just stupid people, and that you are the smart one?

A delusional dummy might make such claims.

I'm saying high IQ does not mean you are smart

Simple poll to see if public schools are beneficial to the American way of life. Some here have said that we don't need public schooling and it is a waste of our tax dollars.
I agree with the concept of a "public education" 100%, however, I don't agree with HOW that "public education" is delivered in this day and age of communications technology.

It's 2015 and our education system is still using the same approaches used in 1915 to "teach" kids....despite all we have learned about the human brain, and how it develops, since then.

The goal of the school system today seems to be more about providing day care services for working parents, and political indoctrination for kids.

I believe we can do better as a nation.

Your link is ridiculous, LF.

You are saying that being "smart" means you are trained. That's OK with me.

There is a difference between "intelligence" and training though. Intelligence is inate; it is the ability to learn. It is genetic. Some claim that it is not genetic. Those claims range from ridiculous to unconvincing.

Argumentum ad absurdem
So you have nothing to back up your assumption and assertion that a privilege offered by society is a right...

Just because you feel something is supposed to be doesnt automatically make it so.

We educate our children because it is a smart thing to do, not because it is a right.
