bho heat purge no chamber?

Like the title says is purging butane out of your extract with heat and no vacuum chamber acceptable? I did it and my end result taste smells and smokes good. I just don't want to be doing this if it's not taking all the butane out. Thoughts anyone? Where can I get a good chamber without emptying my bank account. I saw a few on ebay for less than 200. Are they worth it? Thanks for any help in advance

no you are not getting all of the butane out, not even close. There are plenty online for under 200 and you can get a whole setup for around 300 (chamber pump and regulator)

Yes I've been doing a lot of research and as everything the price scales are so broad. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. But also hate over paying. I was looking for people that had experiences with different set ups and what they would recommend. Some have single stage pumps some are 2 stage. glass or stainless containers. I'm assuming those lexan (or whatever this lids are made of) are legit? You guys have both helped a lot thank you. I've read a lot of your posts twitch and see that you are super professional and appreciate the advice

Man dont think i was slagging you off, its for your own good. Im relatively new to this only been making solvent extractions for less than a year but ive also noticed that most videos out there have some absolute useless retard who can just about not understand simple physics enough to not explain something to you that takes 3 minutes in half an hour.
Just read, ive checked videos just to kinda see oh so thats what it looks like before buying certain equipment.

I do NOT give two shits about how cool you think you are fucking get over it. I didn't ask anyone to take me through step by step on making anything. I asked if my method was sufficient and got my answer. Then I asked what kind of equipment is recommended. I have never bought the equipment they have. As everything is trial and error. I understand the dangers and don't need the snide remark. Go take your negative attitude somewhere else if your not going to contribute anything

Yes annoys the shit outta me too lol. Just about every video I watch has people dabbing. Cool. Now can I learn somthing

Nice man that's exactly the kind of answer I was looking for. I am probably going to invest in the 1 gallon stainless one with a single stage pump. That should be alright just to make a few grams at a time for.personal use right?

I am confident you can find a handful of people in the C&E section that I have spent plenty of time with helping directly. I would like everyone to have a general idea before you rattle off questions, and by no means was I bashing him, I gave him a great place to start and if he has any further question he is more then welcome to ask me any thing or even PM me if you think it is dumb, I have never chastised anyone for asking help.

I do not know everything but ill help to the best of my abilities

that will be good for now, I would recommend a 3 gallon that way if you want to purge say 50 grams you can, and you dont have to get a bigger vac pump unless you get an oven.

or if you run 2 or 3 different strains you can put them all in one, I like the idea of options.

Hi All,
I'm going to order an aluminum 2 or 3 qt vacuum chamber from Best Value Vacs... anyone have an idea of the pro/con for getting the gauges and valves side mounted versus on the plastic top? The only thing that comes to mind, is the top mount could eventually crack the plastic, but the side mount could be cumbersome and get in the way when working inside the chamber?? And I think i'm going to get the digital heating pad. Seems better at temp control than an induction burner. I've been using a plastic desiccator and heat gun, but I need to spend more heated purge time for a cleaner product. Thanks!
