I'm looking for strains that do well in the great Maine outdoors. This is my 2nd grow, last year I had a 20 plant outdoor grow from some good bagseed. I got all my grow info from sitting back and observing this site. I did exceptionally well for my 1st grow. Anyways this year I wanted to start inside for 3 months then put them outdoors. I'm gonna order seeds this year. I heard mixed reviews on pineapple chunk. Also money maker looked good. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the reply. I was sold on pineapple chunk but then I looked at people's reviews and 90% of them were negative. I also searched past threads.

^these seem to be favored by Maine's growers. As well as Pinewarp. I really like the reviews on pinewarp.
A couple others I was looking at were strain hunters money maker and heavyweight fruit punch.

Thanks BC digger.there is an expo coming up in maine. I suggest you go and speak with others in the area for good strains. Also getaway should be there with some of his strains. Btw getaway has much more experience than I.

Pinewarp is really good for where you live. lve smoked alot of it and ive always wanted to grow it. im really considering ordering a single fem and finally growing it out. she gets beautiful colors. really good canadian outdoor genetics!
getaway uses both brains choice and pinewarp for breeding stock as well.(edit) he uses pineberry and timewarp. i m pretty sure pinewarp is a cross of both by bc buddepot
not sure about bahia blackhead. i believe its a sativa dom. i know @FresnoFarmer grew one last year in california. I believe it was his last one to finish. check out his backyard 2014 thread should find tha blackhead in the last 5 or 6 pages

Maine is tough.coast or inland you need fast mold resistant strains.Dinafem blue hash,blue widow and Barneys farm lsd.g13 white lavender.Dutch passion frisian dew.buddha tahoe og might be a little late for you.check out my thread from last year

iv'e tried many strains that just don't make the cut here on the coast but do better inland . brains choice is no good by itself here on the coast bahia blackhead is too late- also ive had good result with a pineapple chunk cross and iranian, seawarp , green poison , s.s. early bud , jumbo grizzly , red dragon , ben johnson , sea level . to name a few

i crossed it with seawarp and it shortend it up to 3 rd week in sept and was good i grew it for the flavor not production no mold issues either

biddy early,serious6,easy sativa,the church..ive had great success with delahaze but it might be to far up north for u to run it..the biddy is awesome and super hardy
