What height restrictions, if any, do you have? Are they 3 feet and lanky/stretched? Or 3 feet with good close nodes/intersections/branches?I have 3 mazar females that because of different problems didnt go into flowering until just past 3 ft. will it still produce good bud or should i trash them & move on to the clones. new at this could use some insight. thnx.
Indica plants will grow much higher if you let them. The rule of thumb is that your plant (indica or sativa) will at least double in height during flowering. The strain I grow triples in height!ive read that indica plants average a max height of about 4ft so thats all i have 2 go on as far as height goes. The plant as far as looks go is good, good initial buds, good color, node regions are close, its overall doin good just wondering if its gonna peter out because of height.
Quite normal......when space is available. You will need a 1000watter though to penetrate the lower buds.so what ur saying is that my plants even though there indica will be fine and will continue to bud up to 6ft.does this seem a bit tall 2 u or have u seen or heard of this before?
In growing you should never do something for the hell of it! If height is a problem the tie them down and get maximium yield. They can do I believe - PERSONALLY if they were getting too tall for my space (now...I dunno if this'd work but i can't see why not) i'd cut them in half and treat the top halfs as clones (leave in water for a few days...dip in rooting powder...) and re-pot them so I'd have double the amount of smaller plants...if it doesn't work then ah well - you've still got the original plants, albeit with less stuff on them...if you do cut then make sure you cut ABOVE a couple of flowers then you'll at least get SOMETHING from them if the top halves go to shit...
...if you got space to do this I'd seriously have a try for the hell of it
