Senate Bill S510, Food Control

This will be voted on by the Senate after Turkey Day, It has already passed cloture. The Dept Of Homeland Security will now be in charge of ALL food and farms/home gardens. You will be allowed to eat what you grow but you will not be allowed to give or sell anything you grow. No more farmers markets unless you have applied for license and payed the fees and taxes. A terrible bill if there ever was one.

If you can control all the food you can control the population with an iron fist. When there is no food to buy and all the stores are empty they could probably just tell everyone that the FEMA camps have all the food they could want and everyone will just line up for the camps. I swear it would happen, if you have ever really experienced true hunger there is almost no limit to what you would do to eat.
i still go to the grocery store or farmer's market.

Whoa man ease the fuck up a second. I wasn't challenging shit, I just wanted the true text. If you're going to post something as fact, provide the fucking facts, don't make someone ask for it.

And after reading that, its just as I suspected. Basically they are saying if you're going to be selling food you better have a label saying what you used to package or can it. Sounds like a good idea to me.
It's in the package, not wrapped around it. Yoiu can SEE the package. Is it really nessesary to write "can" on a can?

So that says if a place makes shitty food and can hurt people it can be shut down at a moments notice. That is just plain terrible.
It also says that if a place makes great food it can be shut down on the whim of an unelected official with no option to appeal.

It was like watching an episode of the office, I just cringed over and over. I hate that. Secondhand embarrassment.

Edit: in regards to the replies to people who haven't been around in some time

Wow that was quite the epic meltdown by the monkey that shits on floors

Bill 510 did not pass the house, therefore did not become law. Some people are sooo obsessed with me that they have to spend hours of searching through a thread to find something, anything to play on. Since the bill did not pass the house any predictions I made if it were to come true still stand, but it didn't. Poor monkey too stupid to understand.

LOL how much time did monkey spend on this? 1, 2 hours?

The little cute monkey smells so good, but irony is lost on it. It doesn't understand that if the bill did not become law, any predictions on what could happen if it did become law don't matter anymore. It was entertaining to watch the monkey dance in a epic meltdown as it flung shit far and wide over dancing along in multiple posts, good lil monkey, here is a peanut for you.

Think I will go post in other threads and turn the organ to make the monkey dance even more.
cute lil guy though, but watch out for flinging shit.
