As far as the CO2 you can make a SUGAR and YEAST CO2 generator really cheap i dont know if it will pump out as much CO2 as you want, but its cheap and effective! You can make it bigger or smaller add more sugar and yeast for more CO2 Flow. Hope this helps.

I dont know about all the getting a certain amount off of a plant indoors, but that would be sweet! LOL. Later guys!

But hey, if your not good enough then no-one is.....yeah.You absolutly couldnt get 3 lbs off a plant that has veged for 4 weeks. But if you read my post you would have seen what I mentioned about Veg time. Now I havent cracked 3 per plant, but I dont do what I need to do. I do get about 2 per plant, and I know guys who do get 3. But you wont find these guys talking shit on the net. They just do it. They know what they are doing and dont care to share.

my point is not that people dont get masive yeilds my point is that this grower has been lied to by this girl from the grow shop (just because someone works in a grow shop does not mean they are a expert grower)
and set not very realistic goals (9lbs of 4 plants 4 weeks veg) and i dont wont them to be pissed off when they dont get that but with more veg u can grow plants as big as u like

Gees theres alot of peeps here who know jack shit about growing. Just because you cannot achieve more than a few ounces per plant doesnt mean that people with far more knowedge and ability than you cant achieve more.You can absolutley get 3 lbs off of one plant if you know what you are doing. But because you cant get that when you use CFL's, you dont think the real growers cant.But getting back to the original question, you seem to be doing most things right. You will make some mistakes in your first few grows which will reduce your yield, but thats why experience is "gained" and not "given". Here is what I would say you need to concentrate on.Firstly, make sure you Veg long enough. You might need to veg for 6-10 weeks to get the plants to the right size to push those types of yields.

Im a fairly newbish grower myself, (only on my second grow) and im about to harvest about 1.5 lbs off my 1000 watter. Hopefully more. so i dont know why your having probs with your op but you should be getting at least 5lbs out of your op.

-buy at least two light mover rails (also my next move)
-use molasses during veg to thicken stalks to allow more uptake of nutes. also use molasses during flower to swell buds up. (also will do this on my next grow)

The most yields are achieved not by vegging longer but by vegging shorter and using alot more plants. There is a vertical growing thread on here where the guy was getting about 1.5 grams per watt. he only had two six hundreds. if he had your lights he would be pulling about 10+ lb every 60 days.

Thats how you get 10 lbs, not off of one giant plant in some grow shop ladies fantasy world.

i agree with everything up until u said vegging longer doesnt get more yield i mean its just a little common sense if u veg for 4 weeks rather then lets say 8 weeks its a little obvious with the right kind of lighting that ur yield will be bigger dont be a doofus dude

Um ok, I only asked for reccomendations and Ive been listening as hard as I can to try and work out why my room didnt pull what it should have. Im not trying to say that this is what I am getting, Im only going on what ive been told in good confidence.

I dont take to being flamed by people who may or may not agree / know more than me, but I do take in all of the good information that is provided in these threads. We dont get Molases here, thats a kind of treacle isnt it.. how do you use it?

We do intend on Vegging longer ( 6 ) weeks this time and using more light on less plants and using the supercropping techniques we learnt in the last few weeks. Also going to have a look at changing nutes in bloom from DM Advabce to Canna along with Superbud additive. Not gonna bother with Co2 as the application wouldnt work in our room.

theres alot of factors that will increase your yield it its possible to produce 3lbs a plant if u veg for a long time and got the space for the plants to grow that big ...... if your tryin to produce weight not size there are loads of additives on the market that will add final weight ..... and people sayin it would take 5 months to get your plants to 6ft ? thats bullshit im 6 weeks from seed and sum of my plants are 4ft and bushy.....check out my journal for proof .... with the amount of lights u got u could produce way over 3lbs ... its about the space ... indoor growin gets limited because unlike outside the plant eventaly runs out of space to grow..... im runnin x6 600watt / x7 250 watt cfls /. and 5 led pannels that will go over 62 plants in a hydro system .... if your tryin to get big yields u will have to go hydro ... soil indoors will never produce as much as hydro will ... also c02 allows your plants to grow at crazy rates ...

I believe that they are really sensitive and respond to your care and love.
