Ice Water for final flush? improve density and trichome production?

I've heard of people using ice water at the end of harvest to simulate winter approaching fast. in theory it sounds good but i've never tried myself. has anyone done this with any luck?

drop a deuce in your pots, just as good as ice water, boiling water or piss. works well for spider mites as well.

But seriously there are "some" very reputable growers that recommend dropping res temps threw the flower cycle to a low of 62 degress F. Normally running at 68-70
Do not factually know if this is helpful but does seem to mimic nature.

So you think that the plant at the end of its life is going to produce more trichomes for you if you give it a ice bath before you cut it down? I have never seen a plant respond in a day with that technique. You can however cool down the environment for the last 4 weeks gradually to the plant and it will respond thinking winter is approaching, but that takes a month or so to do and not a day.

it cant handle constant freezing temps (air temp) but it can surely handle freezing water.
