Anyone that had the original like flying dutchman or sensi. Its like serious seeds ak47, you would have to pop hundreds of seeds to find a cherry pheno(unless your lucky enough to get it in one pack). Its just the way of the road rick

What's up lady it's dluck using a proxy lol but yeah the skunk you used to get back in the day I'm afraid is no longer or at least I haven't found it yet...what I've read is the original mom and dad of Skunk #1 is lost so I don't how Sensi is still breeding seeds.

the Skunk.
I lean towards the latter big time cause back in the day from what I remember in LA
that gets all the real and good stuff never had any strains imported from Europe.
In LA we got stuff from Laos, Thailand, Hawaii, Maui, Kona, Columbia, Mexico, Wohacca ,
Panama, Fallbrook, etc...but never a single strain from Europe so I still believe Skunk came from
Kentucky where growing pot has been more then plentiful for many decades.
I say Sensi and Dutchman Skunk was merely a knock off and not true Skunk.
Skunk was very very plentiful and so easily obtainable that it had to be grown local
no way around it imo.

Skunk #1and Skunk are two totally different strains and have zero correlation.
Skunk #1 could never compete with Skunk. So Sensi never had true Skunk imo.

I ran Sensi Super-Skunk last summer. Even under some CFL's, (moderate lighting), She performed Wonderfully, and practically GREW HERSELF. Super-Stinky, Tight buds with a high calyx-to-leaf ratio and loads of resin. It was a freebie from herbies, and I will probably run some more of this in the future. The high is a cerebral (like skunk#1), but with more "body effects", from the Afghani. A High Quality Product, and highly recommended.

alright then who has the roadkill smelling skunk? ive run several strains including greenhouse and flying,sensi,seedsman,and nirvanas none smell like the shit i got in the early 90,s...actually green house even says its skunk is sweet smelling,,but i think all originated from sam the skunkmans genetics... were is the roadkill strain????

I had dutch passion's skunk #1 in 2002 and it was a good representation of skunk. And the smell was straight skunk, I don't know how many times I heard people say, "What the fuck? It smells like a dead skunk!', after I walked in the room with a bud in a baggie in my pocket. It had a skunky flavor too. Nothing like the fruity skunk #1s that I was hoping for.
That being said, I also order DP's blueberry based on how good the skunk was, and again I got super great representations of how blueberry should be. Super potent, blueberry jam flavor and red/blue/violet hues to the dense heavy yielding buds.
Last few times I've try DP since 2006, all have been garbage. 2 packs of blueberry and 1 of fraisan dew.
That being said, I also order DP's blueberry based on how good the skunk was, and again I got super great representations of how blueberry should be. Super potent, blueberry jam flavor and red/blue/violet hues to the dense heavy yielding buds.

Also, the power kush by dinafem I had was pretty much a skunk. A stinky skunk smell and a very sativish head high.
The critical jack herer from delicious seeds I had was awesome for anxiety. It was like an anti depressant smoke, and fruity. No skunk but after reading those comments in the beginning of this thread, I figured some of y'all could use a chill smoke.

sorry to say, but i think sensi, bcbd,bcsc, and dutch passion have went to shit over the last 10 years!!!! they all had killer phenios in the early 2000's going through marc emry seeds, but all my recent seeds from them are not what they were..only 1 i like was fire og bx3 by bcbd their blue berry suckks, and the only good strain i got from dutch passion was durban poison and it hermed out at the end
DO NOT BUY NL#5 FROM BCSC,,15 BUCKS PER SEED AND IT WONT EVEN GROW!!! 3 months of veg and i just was able to get 3 cuttings off 2 plants!!!! BULL S..

Nailed it. Ahh, the good old days of Marc E. and kind seeds ads in high times.
Back then breeders had to come with the real shit because there wasn't many of us ordering seeds back then. I remember when I first decided to grow, I went out and bought books by Ed Rosenthal and Jorge Cervantes. Their first bit of advice was to score good genetics/beans so I asked around my circle of people and everyone was like: "Dude! Ordering seeds? Wtf, you want the Feds to kick in your door!!!" But I was like fuck it! Why the fuck would these companies place ads if Feds were going to bust every order? Long story short, I grew a pair and ordered feminized skunk #1 and instantly became know as the guy with the fire. Soon, many of my friends hopped on the band wagon and we helped kind seeds, marc E and seeds boutique make a pretty penny.
Living in an illegal state had its perks for those willing to risk it. And before prop 215 in cali, seeds were stable and bomb as fuck. But greed put an end to that. Greedy breeders paranoid to put out stable genetic because someone might make a cross with "your" shit. The God complex and Monsanto dreaming. Cheers.
