What do you check your trichs with?

I use the Plant Eye Pro. Its $100 free shipping. Handheld LCD screen takes pics and video.

No I dont keep them but it works like a champ. I use the LCD screen to check the trichomes right in the tent. It is also great for scoping out bugs. It helps when you can take a pic and look online to find out whats crawling on your funk.

The nice part is you don't have to cut any parts of your plant to check the trichomes. Just turn your fan off so the plants stop moving around and check away.

Right now I'm leaning towards a Dino lite unless someone has a better suggestion. If you can, please post some example pics.

If you're just looking to burn money to feel like you've bought something worthwhile, ok, but you should realize those scopes use the exact same low resolution (1-2MP) sensors and plastic optics as the $15 scopes direct from China on eBay. You're paying for a metal body and a logo.

for a buck you can get a laser light at the dollar store in the pet section. it has a cheaper(works surprisingly well) plastic lens you can use. also 3 batteries that fit hydro meters.:leaf:

Fuck scopes. Save your $150+ and buy some Bomb seeds. You want to see some trichs, look around these pages They kinda get old looking, I mean after all, the clear, milky, amber shots on these pages are tiresome. Kinda like looking at the same pussy all the time.

Some use the same sensor, but the lense plays a big roll too. Something with a decent sensor, good lense, and accurate color is what I want. If there's nothing around my price point I can just pass on one. This is all just to play with around harvest time.

Got plenty of seeds to last a few years. Most of them are bomb! This is just for fun. I would much rather look at my trichs than someone else's.

The one I purchased had a black plastic frame which clipped onto the phone and allowed the scope to push into a circular housing on the frame.

To get the really good pics you really need to move plant to a decent work area. You can also harvest a small bit of flower.

To get the really closeup pics you have to jam the top of the bud up into the scope. This messes up your trichimes a bit if you're not gentle. It takes a little bit of playing around with to get good at it.

Note: It took me a long time to figure out that there is a right side up and right side down to the pen cameras..
