I've seen you postabout dealing with people without cards. He's screwing his friend over. It's weed there shouldn't even be a medical clause to it.

i don't recall these "people" you speak of. one person got me last year who didn't have a card. a "good friend". she knew i had a lot of weed and i was medical and couldn't risk doing anything to her so she tried to screw me. so yes, i have dealt with these people and that is where my advice comes from. she did NOT uphold her agreement. regardless of what it was she failed.

It's ok to use a non-medical persons lights to grow herb with but it's not right to give give to give a non-medical person weed. If he doesn't trust her enough to give her her herb than why should she have trusted him enough to buy him lights? Seems she helped him way more than he helped her. no it is NOT ok. lights are legal, weed isn't unless your are medical. once he gives her weed he becomes a street dealer and risks jail time. all she had to do was get her card. she fucked up. she made a deal, plain and simple. a deal is a deal is a deal.

Buy her new lights, give hers back with a rental fee, Giver her some cash. If you dont want to do anything "illegal", then do what is right. Tell her straight out that you dont feel comfortable doing illegal things, but you do appreciate the fact that she bought lights for you with her money, and return the favor somehow. if you are a medical patient and she isn't you can lose your card dealing with her. she is putting you at risk. she didn't get her card because she didn't have to. you covered everything for her. sounds like she is taking advantage of you. people do this to medical patients A LOT. they bring their street dealing mentality to the table and it's not right. leave the street BS on the street. you wanna be medical and play the medical game then you have to follow the rules.

I aggree with fdd............and honestly if you want to look at it leagally. The verbal contract that you two entered into was binding. The stipulation for her to recieve the bud was to get her card. She entered the agreement assuming she could be a med patient. The stipulations were not met therefore she breached the contract.
But what are you gonna do? Don't put your sit in peril. Give the lights and shit back and lay low for a little while b/c people like that will rat on you just to spite you.

The fact that her ass would get arrested for having pot......Or the same thing that would happen if you called the cops and said " I saw a guy smokin a joint while he was driving.....will you pull him over please."

Or better yet... have you seen the cops where the lady flags the cop down to tell him that this lady took $20 and was supposed to get her crack and didn't? Shit was funny as hell......but with no proof the lady was out 20 bucks.

Well if she said "he gave me weed" they'd have to build a case.....ie: getting him to give her weed to save her ass or getting a U.C to get some from him......or just waste a shit load of tax dollars and watch him like a hawk.
But in order to come into the house there has to be a warrant, for a warrant there has to probable cause. Her saying "he fucked me outa weed b/c i don't have a card" won't really bode well for her.

What it sounds like to me is:
He can't work much or is on fixed income maybe? that why he couldn't afford the lights. She understands this and would like some dank weed. She has family/work/other obligations and can't grow herself. Thinking that she can score some good dope with having to do nothing but buy some lights, she says ok. Maybe even throwing the Med thing out there to ease his mind (due to previous convo's i'm sure) She prolly just figured "ah he'll hook me up anyways" But with the med issue being so close to something US wide no med patient should jeopardize the little leeway they get!
