first off I am not a dude I am a Chick so she isnt afraid of some dude beating her down but I should as alot more shit has gone down in my life that is a cause of her. I will not be giving lights or fans back as they where givin to me from her. You dont give back gifts that you have recived do you? If she would of got off her ass and got her med card she would have buds now cause I have harvested and it turned out nice becaue I I I took good care of my girls everyday not her I went to the DR to get my card due to chronic pain from being hit by a car while crossing the street and multipul other auto acidents including a roll over It is very easy to get the card and know that her husband is a great canidate for the card so she has no reason not to have it. I will not deal with non card holders in any situation anylonger due to this. I think it is a privalage to have my med card and won't mess it up at all. Another thing the cops have already seen all my shit complimented me on my set up and havent done anything as they seen my license so they cant do anything. She and any undercover will not get me because I wont deal with ILLEGALS anymore!

I know I am a little late, but I feel like posting.
Do you honestly think that this chick "gave" you those lights? Do you understand that lights are an investment and cost MONEY. There was no legal contract saying that you get to keep them because she didn't uphold her end of the agreement. It is her property. When a company gives an employee equipment to do the job. It is still the property of the company. She spent her money on those lights and since the deal didn't go through. Neither should you keeping the lights because it was part of the "DEAL"(I know that one hurt). Plus, to actually grow your MEDICINE and not atleast reimburse her for the lights or give them back. Some sick "friend" you are . Let's just say I gave you my grill for a barbeque to make some steak for a party and let's say for some reason (because I didn't bring beer, The CONTRACT) like I said I would that I couldn't attend and get my piece of steak even though I let you borrow it.That is fine. I didn't uphold my end of the agreement so I don't get a taste, but for you to assume that you are going to keep MY grill after that party after you had that amazing steak .
Not only will I get it back, but you will be on my grill.

I agree with you. In law it's called "unjust enrichment", and the OP has been granted what should be, by all rights, considered unjust enrichment. If she's in a med state the person who bought the lights might have a legal foot to stand on in that regard. Either way, whether there's legal precedent or not, it's just not the right thing to do in my opinion.

Some people pay a lot of money for their lights. Is it really so much the overall value that's at issue here as it is the principle of the thing? Not for me. My personal ethics say I won't benefit in that way when the "gift" originally came more as a contract. Be honorable and either return the lights, or repay the person for them. Be a mensch.

Well we technically don't know how much she spent for the lights so we can't really denouce it and say they aren't a big deal. If she got it from a friend for 40 bucks,(which is amazing) then no big deal, but she obviously wouldn't threaten to call the cops for a 40 dollar light. Who knows how much she spent. Plus, like Seamaiden said, it just isn't right.

I would give her her meds if she was a card holder I have legal rights to do that but she has no card so I would be giving her meds against the law and she could turn me in for that. I am a medical marijuana patient I made a deal with my friend that if she bought my light's and exaust fan so I could get going and if she got her card by harvest time I would re emburs her with meds well harvest time came and gone she hadnt got her card now she wants to call the cops and says I am holding stolen property does anyone have any coments on this?

If she doesn't have her medical recommendation, and YOU do, you're fine.

There is no way any police will consider medication grown by you to belong to her. Additionally, she cant have it anyways, that's like saying you owe me vicodin even though I have no prescription.

If the police do try to contact you, do not open the door, do not talk to them, and do not offer any information - not even a greeting.

If they obtain a search warrant, contact your lawyer and discuss your medical needs, and whether or not it is the right time to show that you are a registered patient.
