Black Folks and Aids

Last time I checked I was AIDS free too, I wonder how much longer I have.
Fuck black, white, yellow, I dont even call myself black or a man anymore. Labels that we assign ourselves have too much bearing on the decisions we make. Not all labels are bad, most of the ones we choose are awesome, its the ones that were assigned to us that I question.
I am not 60% of a man.
I am 100% human.

Just a few nights ago I took the wife out for dinner and a movie, but was denied entry in to the sports bar because I had on a hooded sweatshirt. I kinda got that Jim Crow 3/5 of a man feeling that no human should have to endure. Racism is taught from an early age and many people have prejudice thoughts. Discrimination should be called out immediately and not tolerated, like pedophilia, incest. There are things that are just not good for society. But most people dont even realize how prejudiced they are.
My bank makes you remove sunglasses and hat when you enter. Maybe it is because the bank is prejudiced against fair skinned people trying to avoid skin cancer, or maybe they are trying to lower the risk of armed robbery?

Butt-hurt is no way to go through life.

It's not a good idea to be a racist, but it is a good idea to honor the rules a person makes about the use of their private property.

Even if you really really think shitting on the bank floor is a good thing, the owners may not. You should try hard to honor and respect their wishes Grand Wizard of Doo Doo.

Could be, if you if you looked in the window and saw the uni-bomber at the teller, after you were just turned away which one would you pick?
No matter, I went to a bar with some dude named Pablo singing karaoke when we walked in, a totally mixed crowd. An old white dude singing frank sinatra, 2 middle aged ladies(looked like coworkers on the way home) and of course Pablo and his little cousin (that he raised since he was 5 years). I enjoyed the rest of the night.
I just wanted to make sure that all my fellow armed robbers knew about the opportunity I missed and to not wear hoodies on the job anymore.

Well, the unibomber was a white guy so he's good to go with a hoodie. That's how it works, right?

Pensioner ordered out of restaurant for wearing pink M&S 'hoodie'

A pensioner has spoken of her anger how she was ordered out of a restaurant for wearing a Marks & Spencers pink hooded top.

Corinne Chapman, 61, had just sat down to eat on Tuesday when the manager told her to take off her top or leave the restaurant.

A shocked Mrs Chapman, said: "The manager asked me if I was going to take my hoodie off. I replied 'what hoodie' as the top I was wearing was a pink cardigan made of cotton waffle from the Marks and Spencers Limited collection which is not cheap."

"Admittedly it does have a hood which I have never put over my head but in no way would I call it a hoodie."

Sometimes when people own a business, they will drive themselves out of business, creating opportunity for people that treat their customers well.

The Free Market helps motivate people to be nice to one another or face consequences.

just ignore desert dude, he's one of the forum's foremost white supremacists. he even joined a white supremacy group here on RIU not too long ago, then tried to deny it for months.

I totally agree, we all have a right to our private property. My wife just came home with a story from her sociology class yesterday. They were discussing wealth and income distributions in the US. They were divided into 6 groups by counting off 1-6, totally random. The groups were then classified as the 99%,-the 1% broken down into 6 categories(I dont remember exactly how she said but it really doesnt matter). They started by dividing the property, 1/2 of the room and chairs were given to the 1%'ers, it turned out that the group she was in, the bottom group had 6 people crammed into a corner with 2 chairs.
Then the professor took out some herseys kisses and dumped them on the table. 6 people got half of the bag.
Next was cake and frosting to represent wealth, you get the picture.
After the exercise was done and everyone was on equal grounds as a student, everyone in the class got a seat, chocolate and cake. I even got 2 kisses and I didnt even attend the class.

Thank you for agreeing that everybody has a right to their own private property, which would include the right to control their own body as well. Sorry about your shitty experience at the bar.

tell him about your belief that it should be OK to kick people out of gas stations and restaurants and hotels on the basis of skin color.

I don't think that's okay. I don't like it when people behave that way.

Yet, I don't think it's okay to use force to make people do with their own body and their own property those things I'd do different under similar circumstances. I don't think an obese person should be shopping for high calorie junk food either, but I'm not willing to get all Fat Police on them, are you?

By the way your argument has failed....again.

Is sickle cell "color blind" as well?

Hiv is "color blind" is not the best defense....

on a side note....

Am I the only one who sees the irony/humor that the people who scream racism the most are those most isolated from other races?

Hilarious to me.... Sit on your WHITE IVORY TOWER and talk about it....

then why do you argue constantly to re-legalize that practice?
I don't think rights come from government.

Also, government, can't "fix" something wrong, by instituting something that replaces one wrong with another. It's wrong for a third party to use force to keep people from interacting (segregation) but its also wrong to use force to make people interact. (forced integration)

Thanks for asking for the millionth time. Have a great day.

oh, so in other words, you do think it's okay to kick people out of businesses based on skin color alone.

thanks for clearing that up.

you know who else thinks "forced integration" is wrong? some real unsavory folks.

http://conservative-headlines.com/2013/01/are-white-americans-in-danger-of-genocide/

most of us wouldn't ever say we are "forced" to integrate, only white separatists like you would say that, robrot.
