Obama wants mandatory voting...

So how will they penalize people if they do not vote? Tax? (I mean uh fine).
Who gets fined? Surely not the underpriviledged, they will get a pass right because I mean, they cant even go get a voter ID, but now it is fine to force them to vote?

Cant wait to see the Obama lovers defend this. Watch the twists and spins that make everything ok when Obama does it... Just like how dems were anti-war until the dems went to war, now dems are war lovers.

This subject is overrated. More voters oblivious to the real facts and only educated through stupid-social-media won't make any kind of substantial difference in the larger scheme of things. Although it may move along some minor causes such as the legalization of marijuana on a federal level, the 1%er's already know how to manipulate and influence stupid votes as they have done for decades.

Obama. Seriously? Is that really that important to us? Stupid votes? That's like well. Ummmm. Opinions.

Hooray! More freedom restrictions!

If I don't want to vote for a douchebag or shit sandwich I should not have to.
LOL. I leave so many blanks on the ballot when I vote simply because even after seriously attempting to objectively consider the candidates, I find it impossible to figure out which of the fuck ups will harm Murica the least.

More people voting = more dem votes, fact. Which is why republicans try everything they can to discourage voting, even going so far as to pass out pamphlets in poor black neighborhoods informing voters of the wrong day to vote..

I can't say I support mandatory voting, I'd probably support Nov. 2 being a national holiday or simply adding the line "none of the above" at the bottom of the ballot, that could even be beneficial as if you get more "none of the above" votes than simply people not voting like most don't today, a valid argument could be had about the political process. As it is now, dummies on both sides can point to the voter turnout and say "see, they're lazy, that's why my guy didn't win!" or any other bullshit excuse but never "he/she lost because he/she is a worse candidate..".

But lets be honest here, republicans don't like this because it would decrease their chances of winning an election and they know it, just like they don't want money out of politics by and large because without it, they can't win

i think Obama is just like fuck it. He's a short timer now and after 6 years. I remember the first interview I saw after the last GB left office. He was all smiley and happy and looked relieved to be outta the White House.

I respect your input. I think we should do away with even recognizing any of these dogs as republican or dem. from now on just call them all fuck ups. Like saying, which fuck did you vote for? Well, I didn't vote for that fuck up. I voted for the other fuck up.

At the end of the day. I think the modern day Murican politics are embarrassing to the nation.

Kids! Get an education and keep up with current events. My generation, the ones that came before and who have come along shortly after have done a really piss poor job in making change in our political system. Someday, something has to change. And you guys are our future. Now put the video games down, get educated and get to work. This nation is still great. We have a helluva lot of room to improve.

So according to your basement dwelling ass only repubs have a problem with money being taken out of politics.
Delusional and more assumptions on your dumbass part.

The 100 biggest donors of 2014 gave nearly $174 million to Democrats, compared to more than $140 million to Republicans>

Either way both sides are riding the same pony, I don't get why they even want us to vote when half the time they just over ride the shit we vote for anyways. Gore and Marijuana are two prime examples of how they could give two shits how the people vote.

You are correct.
They don't give two shits about the people.

So do you think their aim is to just tax us for not voting so they can extort more money? It seems like a small paycheck for such a hot topic. OR are they going to punish us for the way we vote?
