Alright so here is the pic of the bottom of the cup as asked for... Sorry I didn't do this sooner but I am still down with my back. I have also taken pictures of my plants for my update as well. I will be gone this weekend for so much needed therapy for my back so Im doing my update today as well instead of on saturday.

So far all plants have been given nothing but just water, I also decided to top them all today as well. So If I am not DQ'D this is my update. I also took a video for you guys of the cups a measuring cup with 16oz of water and showing you filling the cup as more evidence. Besides these cups and clear plastic great value 16 oz cups I do not have any others nor have I bought others, these were from the 4th cup comp I believe. So if they are not 16oz then I dunno. Hence the reason I took a video as well. I am not trying to pull anything and have no problem providing proof whether I am DQ'D or not I think I mentioned as well as the others that they're should be better methods or rules for showing cups/sizes/ etc. for future comps.

So I dunno what letters/numbers on the bottom of the cups mean I'll leave that upto you guys in letting me know.

Sorry, the "18TC" stamp is a marking indicating 18oz. With 16oz cups they say "16TC" like this

DSC02186.JPG

I do agree that perhaps the rules should be changed in future comps, possibly just require everyone to get the exact same cup, from a brand that can be universally acquired (Like whatever the cheapest 16oz cup on amazon is or something)

Edit: P.S. I hope everything goes well with your back, and that you get relief and recovery, I know you may not be particularly fond of me given this whole situation but I wish you the best, I honestly wasn't (And am not) trying to come after you as a personal attack or anything of the sort.

^^^^^FROM REGISTRATION THREAD^^^^^
(I HOLD THE RIGHT TO AMMEND OR CHANGE THESE RULES AS I SEE FIT/WHEN I SEE FIT, AT WILL, AND WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT OR PRIOR NOTICE, OR WARNINGS FROM THE CONTESTANTS/SPONSORS. THIS RULE WILL BE UPHELD FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE 6TH OFFICIAL PARTY CUP COMPETITION.)

****ANY RULE VIOLATION CAN RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AT HOST'S (
MY) DISCRESSION************

"LIGHTING" RULING

-No wattage changes... I.E. you can't go from a 600 watt hps to a 1000 watt hps or vice versa
-you need to declare when SPECIFICALLY you are switching spectrum
-ONLY ONE SPECTRUM CHANGE- This is your "burnt out bulb"... Any further "burn outs" and you can try again next time
-NO ADDING OR REMOVING LIGHT/WATTAGE
-YOU CANNOT RUN A 600WATT HPS THEN ADD A MH TO MAKE DUAL SPECTRUM OR VICE VERSA.... RUN BOTH FROM THE START OR PICK ONE

*NO SWITCHING LIGHTING TYPE (I.E. LED TO HPS, INDUCTION TO LED, MH TO LED)

-ALL LIGHT USAGE MUST BE DECLARED IN THE INITIAL POST
-THIS MEANS

YOU MUST HAVE A WRITTEN AND POSTED PLAN AS TO ALL LIGHT THAT IS BEING USED ****LED GROWERS THIS APPLIES TO YOU AS WELL*******

*WHEN SPECIFICALLY (DATE) YOU ARE SWITCHING (OR FLIPPING THE "FLOWERING" SWITCH ON YOUR PANEL)
*WHAT SPECTRUM YOU ARE SWITCHING TO
*THERE WILL BE NO CYCLE CHANGES ALLOWED - PICK A CYCLE AND STICK TO IT 11/13, 12/12, 13/11 -

MOVING THE CUP/ENTRY'S LOCATION IS TOLERATED, BUT "LIGHTING" MUST BE DECLARED IN THE INITIAL POST

FURTHER QUESTIONS CAN BE DIRECTED TO ME...
QUIT MAKING THIS SO COMPLICATED GUYS- IT IS SO INCREDIBLY EASY ITS DUMB!
K.I.S.S.
KEEP IT STOOPID SIMPLE
-PICK UP TO 5 SEEDS
-GET 16OZ CUPS
-TALK SHIT (THIS CAN BE REPEATED BETWEEN STEPS IF NEEDED)
-PICK GROW LIGHT
-SET TIMER TO 12 HOURS ON 12 HOURS OFF
-MAKE SEEDS GROW IN CUPS EXCLUSIVELY
-PICK WINNERS
So I have a question. Could I swap my current LED panel for a different one of similar, but not exact power displacement (~140-150 vs the current ~168 ), that's a 3000k output(currently a 4000k)? Or do I need to stick with the current rig till the end of the comp?

Week 6 Update
Well I have been very neglectful this past week and it shows on all my plants... except for the #2 party cup of course, just has to make me feel bad about not picking her. I did surprisingly have time to top off the cup this week finally, lets hope that sparks some growth... looks like she barely grew at all this week.6weeki.JPG

From what to what.... brand wise.... Cree's are a lot different than Chinese crap.... 150 watts of cree could outperform 300 watts of china crap...

Tribe has spoken brotha! Sorry its like this but I regret to inform you that YOU ARE DISQUALIFIED from this competition.... Good luck in your future endeavors, I would personally allow you to compete in the 7th party cup, as this didn't seem to me as blatant cheating/disregard of rules... You are also welcome to vote for a winner when the time comes!

From four, 4000k vero 18's on CPU coolers with individual power supplies@42w each(~168w). To four, 3000k, vero 29's in series on a single power supply @~38.2W each (~152w) on a single heatsink.

The color change is a problem.

Maybe just setup a new room for your new light and grow more? :weed:

well that's why I quoted the rules. The 'burnt out bulb' clause allows ONE spectrum change, as written. That's why I ask the host for clarity. Although it's not due equipment failure.

The old fixture will not go to waste, rest assured. I have a new aquaponic setup for leafy greens I need to experiment with :P

That's a pretty big change... You realize that... I'm not okay with it, its like going from a Hortilux 600HPS, to a 600 Gavita DEHPS..... I mean don't get me wrong, that's a great upgrade, but its too big of a change with no prior notice in your initial lighting declaration....

It would be an almost 10% jump in efficiency. This is why I ask, before leaping. Next time though, watch out :P

Hence the Gavita Double ended bulb reference (which provides a 10-15% efficiency increase vs standard Single ended HPS bulbs), for all those that are unfamiliar with the LED COB world...
