Should I be raising the temperature of my tap water? It leaves the tap at about 9°C and I can gain a few degrees leaving it overnight. Should I be heating it a little more to avoid shocking the plants ?

Room temp is fine as long as it isn't too cold. If it is too warm it has adverse effects also.

I target about 60-65F (10-13C)

I have heard that cold water delivers more oxygen to the roots but of course not too cold.

I would think if your water is getting close to 12C you are okay

60-65F is 15.5-18.3°C though... so 12 °C maybe a little too cold?

damn, you are right....I hate metric

yes, 12c would be only about 53F which I would consider a bit too cold

i was heating my water was 54 degrees i forgot about heating it... every thing seems good

straight out the tap temp isnt going to hurt anything growing in soil. if its that big of a deal just run some hot waterbwith your cold to make it warm.

Isn't it odd that with every 'rule' of growing cannabis, no matter how mundane, there is always someone somewhere who successfully ignores or even does the exact opposite from that.

i know someone who runs his res temps at 14°c .... He's been doing it 40+ years.


someone told me he never uses bennies or h²0² in his res and has done for like 7 years with no problems .

i could reel 100's of these techniques off which differ so much but im quite stoned aha
