I'm an Amsoil dealer so that's what's in my stuff, truck, bikes, etc...And I masturbate with their gear oil, the 75-90 one.

Do not use 5w-30 as chain saw bar/chain lubricant oil. It probably works to some extent in a pinch but, it's too loose and your basically just slinging oil all over the place. Bar/chain oil must have a high viscosity and some kind of additive to get it to stick to the chain and bar.
