BENEFITS OF A ScrOG ????

HI IM DOING MY FIRST GROW GOT 9 PLANTS IN 3X3FT AND 8FT HIGH UNDER 600HPS WELL VENTALATED HERES A FEW PICS.

I WAS WONDERING NEXT TIME I WANTED TO TRY ScrOG BUT WILL TRAINING ONE PLANT TO FILL THE CANOPY TAKE LONGER THEN TRAINING 2 PLANTS AS I WAS GOING TO DO DWC AND TRAIN 1 PLANT BUT WOULD I NEED TO KEEP IT IN VEG FOR A WHILE LONGER THEN I WOULD IF I WAS TRAINING 2 PLANTS TO FILL

sir...would it have been better if you scrog that small space?? about to grow in same exact conditions...plz help

You can get twice the number of plants in space - but - your grow looks great considering the space so the yield difference might not be good as you want or produce now . More work with a SCROG,ect

This guy had a nice set-up. A 1 plant scrog would have taken longer to veg. Not only would you have to wait for the screen to fill, if you're not growing hydro, you'd have to veg a little longer afterwards as well if you wanted nice tall colas like that.

I do a 1 plant scrog in a 3x3 with a 5gallon smart pot with soiless mix and 400w MH/600w HPS. I veg for 3 weeks then finish filling the screen with the stretch in flower. I consistantly pull 12 to 16 ounces every grow.

dam? u da man...have 600w firsttime grow in very small space...jus trying to be ready...I have 15 bagseed sprouts going...looking for females...have a kush seed an haze seed from herbies...want to put those two in there get them going...with whatever females I get from sprouts...just need or haven't decided whats the best way to grow what I have planned...its going in there no matter what....maybe scrog half that small space with bagseeds...,,,then let the haze ..kush plant grow regular? on the other half??

I never even got that far to scrog as I got caught with weed in my pocket and my girlfriend had to get them out before tbey searched the house and my scrog net amd that got pulled down,

bumping because I'm in a similar dilemma 4x2x5 box 400 mh/hps .. A sugesstion that might work better for you than me that was suggested to me was top to 4 main colas and fill SOG as many as possible there's a good write up in the advanced section about "mainlining" that might give you a better picture

1.5 to 2.5 lbs avg, strain dependent in a 4x4 space with 1 plant done in a no screen scrog style tie down/super crop....One of my friends does this all the time/every run. 1k light per plant/4x4 area. He does this in rotation with 6 area's......his veg time is around 2 months.
He always runs 2 area's with sativa's and clears over 2.5 per on those......I've done it to see If I could.....but I need more diversity for my needs.
