yellow spots on leafs

im growin outdoors got 10 mixed plants all female just got problem yellow spots on the fan leafs not shure if its spider mites cant find any i have changed the food from baby bio to wilkos grow more a grower recommended it fore more yeild be very grateful for any info cheers.............

Could be nute burn. Maybe a good flush of the soil is in order.

looks like they're being eaten by something. I have a similar prob currently but no holes... The holes are a pretty telltale sign of something eating them tho. There's a few good organic ways to control pests; you could take some garlic + water and make a tea out of it then spray the leaves down. I've also heard a tobacco tea works well. A couple cloves of garlic in the soil also adds sulfides to the soil which the plant will take up and will make them insecticidal, but won't change the flavor. I'm not sure quite how long that particular process is, though. GL.

Definitely bugs. As Karrion said, the holes are a sure indicator of bugs.

Just a followup Q to my own informational post; has anyone actually done the garlic clove in the soil method and seen how long it takes to take affect?

ill try it on few worth a go better than loseing them had a feeling they was getting eaten i hav been useing bug spray only ran out a few days ago gone rapid so better get sum more but ill try da garlic then ill post a reply let u know thanks for da info cheers.................

What kind of bug spray are you using? The pattern of the spots kinda looks like it was sprayed on. Maybe the bug spray was a little too hot. A couple of years ago I mixed up some compost tea and did a foliar feed on my hydrangea. The tea was way too hot and burned the fuck out of the leaves.The plant is right outside of my front door, I still have to look at those yellow spots every day. Anyway the pattern looks very similar to my foliar feed mishap. Before you go spray the whole plant again, do a test spray on a couple of leaves and see what happens. It probably is bugs but better safe than sorry.

Woolly I cant see anything wrong with your plants. They look great. Are the black spots stuck on, or is it more of a dust?

have you tried Pest Off spray - usually pretty affective for most parasites.

I wouldn't snip anything off yet. Like I said overall your plants look great. If you scrape off the black spots is there any damage to the leaves below them?

seems to be gettin alot worse their mainly on the tops n on small leafs im just guna av to wait n c...........

Right - I've noticed a similar problem on my plants and also found some thrips (6 legged insects). They are fast moving and yellow but apparently turn black as they get older. the black spots you are seeing could either be their shit or eggs.
Did you try the pest off? I'm going to get some now.
