Blech...late night blasting....Back hurts, there's gotta be a better way to do this....I'm just being a fuckwad and not building a contraption to do it for me....

Maybe a trip to the hardware store is in order....

Oh...and I LOOOOOOVE you, @Growan

Love you too man. This place sucks so much less because you and the rest of them are here. You know of whom I speak.

What you blasting? I have to wire brush a painted stone wall. not looking forward to it.

Haha...blasting is my slang term for making butane hash oil...Just got done, arms are shakey from holding a glass tube(several, actually, but not all at once, silly goat! ;) ) and several cans of butane pressed up against it one at a time for the past 30 minutes straight...

First world problems. I feel your pain.

I actually have to wire brush the paint of a stone wall. I wish. I had your job...

....and when I do I go back to threads from a year ago and bump them.

Sorry.
No need to apologize, you're great.

I DID, however, take it upon myself to ignore button a couple members.

Place is cleaned up nicely.

Woah. I live in a small town now, so that kind of commute would get you 250 k away from where you started. Do you podcast? Books on tape? Music? Radio? Never done the daily commute, I always wondered what I'd do with the drive time.

It's like 2 hours total add up to an hour depending on traffic, 90 miles round trip...what is that, like 150k?

Oooooh, so it's not traffic, you just live a little bit away. 90 miles is 144 km. I checked.

Still never done it. I've had 5 and 6 hour commutes to work. But then for a period of time the work commute is about 10 seconds. Remote camp work does that.

I did start listening to books on tape for the long drives though. I've never gotten into podcasts though. Always wanted to find some good ones...

How do you travel to work in canada, a snowmobile, ice skates, or snowshoes?
hahah, you're part right. My last place of employment the commute from my home was:

Winter:
3.5 hour drive + 2 hour small plane ride to land on frozen lake + 30 min snowmobile

Summer:
3.5 hour drive + 2 hour float plane ride to land on lake + 10 min helicopter ride

Then when I got there, I had to walk from my room about 10 steps and I'd be in the kitchen and at work.

I'd say most people here drive to work though. Remote camp stuff is different.

I like Mysterious Universe podcast, if you have a vague interest in conspiracy theories and ufo s and chupacabra you'll like it too. Not sure if it's still free, haven't looked for a while.
I just discovered Radio Lab. It's pretty varied and interesting.

The city I live in is out of money. So they put in all these automated systems to click out fees automatically if you are driving 30 mph past a tiny park. I figured out how to get around this though, I just get really baked before getting in the car. Slow is safe, right?

There's an invisible toll in Dublin. There are signs, well hidden and not properly explaining that you've just passed through a toll.
Every other toll is in a 'toll plaza' so you can't miss it. That one sneaky toll must make a fortune in fines because people have no idea they have to pay it.
