I want to start some seeds for the out doors this summer but my led light is growing a plant that is 15 days in to flower and was wondering and my ds 200 is on full spectrum, switch 1 for begg is on and switch 2 is on will this hurt my seedling, if not how far away should i keep it from the light ??? I will put it in the corner away from all the intense lighting as much as i can

Q: What height should I use the rw75 at?
A: 18"-24" for seedlings and clones (white LEDs only). 12"-18" for vegging plants (white LEDs only) and 12"-18" for flowering plants (red and white both on).

Might hurt a bit, but I doubt enough to do any real damage. I dont see how it would kill it if its your only option. Better that than screw up the plant flowering

White LED is best on VEG setting. Please do some research on spectrums.
Second, I would suggest you get some T5/T8 bulbs as they are very good for seedlings and Veg.
White LED need to be within 2" of plant to prevent stretching. I heat is an issue use a fan but with LED its unlikely.
Move the LED up once plants get larger. 12-18" for larger plants but again the closer you can get the light the better penetration you get and the larger production.

Hope this helps.

I know all that, I know its not the best, I started the 2 plants that are In my room right now just fine there on day 16 of flower doing ok, I only have 1 room for veg and flower and 1 full spectrum led light with plants already in flower under it, its the only light I got and I'm just wanting to start some seeds if its not going to kill them by puting the seeds under the light then I don't care not wanting what's best for my seeds at this time just wanting to know if it will work

Well first off all look up spectrums but if you only have one light here is the best option mate.
Use the Veg setting and get them 2" to the sprouts/seedlings and if its too hot which is unlikely then use a fan.
In time I suggest getting a Fluorescent fixture with some T8 Bulbs 6500k.
For now use the Veg setting and 2' so not to stretch the plants.

So you have only 1 light ijn total?
What your saying is you have seedlings in a 12/12 cycle when they should be in 24/24?
If so that is not enough light. Go ouyt and pickup a T5/T8 Fixture with bulbs.

If you are going to be growing you need this. You cannot do it all on one light.
Wont cost you too much.

get your seedlings out of the bud tent and into somewhere else on 24/24 and fluorescent bulbs 2" from tops.

You are forcing seedlings into flower mate. BAD BAD BAD

t5 is obsolete and overpriced. either get t8 4 foot shoplight for really cheap or go for a DIY 5000k 70cri vero 18, vero 29, or cxb for veg.

Or use MH or HPS if you have a large enough veg area.

never mind lol Im just going to do it any way and see how it goes.. the 200 w ds I have works just fine in my small space was just asking if it be ok to start seeds under it while on both switches as in turned all the way up I dont got space for moor light other then the cfls i put in there to help with flowering, and dont fill like buying a light just to start seeds for a out door grow that i wont do much of any way. i will see if it fries my seedling

For someone running a veg chamber perpetually, it's actually the best place to save money on electricity because the lights are on for a longer period of the day.

If you are using a MH remember ventalation is key as MH can easily burn the plants.
T8 are great, 6500k for Veg.
But again never have your seedlings in a flower tent with 12/12 id suggest doing some very serious research. Dont kill your seedlings. If you are serious about growing get some T8.

I disagree. These plants are being grown for outdoor conditions.

Treat them as such.

In what way do you disagree? Regardless of indoor or outdoor he needs a dedicated Veg Room and light.
Sure MH can be used but its very difficult to get them very very close without stretching withing heavy ventalation.
A simple T8 fixture will do perfect.

This helps quite a bit mate.
Well go ahead. But in the future would suggest getting a T8 Fixture.

Make sure you are not strecthing your seedlings.
