Are they selling the new series Vero29 yet?

I see on bridgelux website they are shipping the 130l/m version but from the data sheets I'm not able to find the exact part numbers. I was going to get some of the 3500k and 5000k. The 3500k at digikey has the "E" in it, does that mean enhanced. Anyways I figured I'd buy the newest version if possible.

Not quite yet, the rumor is the vero 29 is going to be in stock ~05/02/15. Vero 18, ~04/18/15.

I personally think bridgelux is making a big mistake taking this long to go from news to new product.

By the time vero 2.0 comes out, it will be too late. I will have already converted to cxb weeks ago! The main reason? Vero 2.0 was not only "not out yet", but would you like to pay a ton for the supply limited vero 1.2? no?

I'm switching to CXB because I can't find a high efficiency driver to power 4 V29s @ 1.4A. The additional cost in buying 2 drivers make me think I might as well spend the extra on CXBs.

Exactly. It would have been over an entire season wasted had I kept waiting. I wanted to make my recent design using vero 18. The cxb have long since been put to work.
