Grow Tent Venting and Exhaust Questions (1000 Watt HPS), Help!

Hey guys,

I have a 6 foot by 6 foot grow tent. I want to put a 1000 watt HPS in there. However, I really need some advice on how to set it up. I plan on getting an air cooled reflector for the HPS. Would it be enough to have a set up similar to this:

Ducting (outside tent) >> Tent >> Inline fan blowing right >> air cooled reflector >> Ducting (leading to outside of tent)

The problem here would be that I'm venting the heat created by the HPS into a room, not outside. Will the heat dissipate easy or create a problem? I just don't know how extreme the heat will be from the light because this will be my first time.

Also, I do not have a carbon filter/scrubber included in these plans. That's because I wouldn't add a carbon filter until flowering time (weeks away). If i did, would it look something like this:

Tent >> Carbon filter (with inline fan attached- blowing air right) >> air cooled reflector >> Ducting (leading to outside of tent)

So does this plan sound good, or need revision?

Your issue you will run In to is your room will take the Heat and heat your tent up. Unless using ac your tent will never be colder than the room its in.

u are boned ..........a 1000w and u are not dumping the air outside the cycle

ok the air needs to be dumped outside .........otherwise u will need a AC in the 10,000 btu and maybe a water chiller and radiator

ok u need to dump that air out of the house ....the way u had it hooked up for the flowering on the carbon filter is what we all normally do but we dump that air outside the tent outside the air that gets cycled back into the tent

u need to cycle the air in your tent at least once every 3 mins (unless u are pumping in Co2) .....but u need to cycle the air to remove the heat in the tent and keep the heat from the blub down along with bring in fresh Co2 from the house for the plant to use ( light hours plants make Oxygen from Co2 ....dark they use Oxygen and make a waste form of CO2 that is no good for them )
