It was just a few lies. It was for a good cause. I am sure those UVA frat boys did something they should have been caught doing, but weren't.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The fraternity at the center of a now-discredited Rolling Stone rape article says the story was defamatory and reckless and they are pursuing legal action against the magazine.
Phi Kappa Psi said Monday in a statement that the article was viewed by millions, led to members being ostracized and there was vandalism of the fraternity house.

The fraternity's statement came as the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism released a report, saying the magazine's shortcomings "encompassed reporting, editing, editorial supervision and fact-checking."

Here is a lefty writing about the UVA rape fantasy. What a bunch of twaddle. Here is my advice to lefty journalists: tell the truth. Generating a fiction to support your world view makes you look like liars treating your groupies as rubes.

"Embattled by complications or mitigating factors..." LOL. Yeah those "complications" were fucking lies and you guys were caught with your pants on fire.

The right, on the other hand, tends to understand politics on the individual level, which fits in neatly with a general obsession with the capital-i Individual. Thus, the right tends to pore over the specific details of high-profile cases like those of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown, concluding that if those particular situations were embattled by complications or mitigating factors, then the phenomena they’re meant to represent must not be real either. And if a few highly publicized rapes turn out to be murkier than first represented, then rape itself is not a crisis, just a regrettable and rare anomaly. The positive version of this approach is the elevation of people like Joe the Plumber, individual cases that purportedly show the value and effectiveness of conservative politics. It isn’t great reasoning, but it is very appealing on a sub-intellectual level.

What's wrong, Buck? What has caused you to spiral out of control?
why did you join a white supremacy group?

and why are you too cowardly to even tell this forum why you joined a white supremacy group?

and why did you lie for months about your membership in a white supremacy group?

Think about what Wenner is saying here, however: The story’s author was so corrupt as to steamroll her editor with bogus reporting, and the editor was too weak to resist. And yet Woods is keeping his job; Erdely will continue writing for the magazine as well.

Quite amusing, journalism at it's finest.
Fox News is jealous.

Rolling Stone publisher Jann Wenner is in complete denial.

are you too stupid to realize that by citing the washington post, you are calling yourself in complete denial, since they would say that about someone like you who thinks AGW is a hoax?

There just has to be a rape crisis on campus. There just has to be. There is a war on women, after all. Poor Sandra Fluke can't get the Jesuits to pay for her birth control pills. It's a war, I tell ya!

We just have to tell a big enough whopper to get all the progressive retards to demand a government solution. Oh, and a universal basic income on the side please. It's working. I wish I could be alive when the millennials grow up and have to confront the train wreck they caused.
