Oh and I still have the dinafem and blueberry headband that I just started spraying for fem seeds. I messed around and stunted outside and whole lot of stress and them lil hoes have remained fem. they have to be 2 months old and no bigger then a foot. But they smell of love

how old is your bulb ? honestly i try to change them every other grow ...... but i can tell about half way through the second one when it finally get's to the spinnin wheels point ..... i started buying cheaper bulbs so i can change them more often ...... i have one lumatek high par left then im running Ipower's from here on out

This is the first grow with this bulb. It's just don't seem I'm using a 400 watt hps......
Ok so the ballast is digital 600 and I put a 400 bulb in and turned it down to 75%...lol I got the bulb free so don't beat me up. Could this be a problem. I read everywhere and seems a lot of people do it without any issues.... If it's a problem I will go get an 600 watt bulb ASAP.

even though the ballast is on 75% it still fires the bulb at the str needed to kick off a 600w ....... HPS bulbs can explode / pop and send glass and possibly a small puff of fire down your exhaust so i try not to give them any reason to do that ....... touch the bulb with a paper towel and not your hands when you put it in cooked finger prints can make them blow too

Yeah I always wipe my bulb down. I'm looking to maybe get aused hortilux eye bulb. Save me some money

20 bucks free shipping and you know its new and has the expected life needed ...... problem with used bulbs even high dollar ones is the spectrum changes the older it gets ....... they lose their kick after a couple of months even though the light works and will grow plants its less efficient .... not that it consumes more power or anything its just putting out less of a usable spectrum

just for example ..... me and my old lady been back and forth about buying another chest style deep freezer ........ she is constantly showing me posts for some in the 100-150 dollar range used ........ and i say the same thing every time .... 150 bucks filled with a couple hundred pounds of meat ..... with no warranty and a unknown life expectancy ....... if it goes out and i have 2 pigs in it that i butchered out we would have to replace the freezer right then and possibly be out a couple hundred pounds of meat ..... i know this doesnt apply to your situation but thats just the way i think ...... it makes more sense to me to buy 2 cheaper bulbs so you would have a back up instead of pinching pennies to buy a higher priced brand used at probably the same price

Ok today is 4/11 which marks weeks 4. It's kinda sad to think I only have 4-5 weeks left. I really hope these plants can put on some weight ..
Today I watered the planted with 1 tsp of brer molasses I got form the store for $3...
Most likely I won't be using this brand again since I hear the organic one has more nutes. I'll order one from ebay next week to use for my next grow in a month

...... you should be excited you still have 5 weeks IMO they still havent hit flower yet ........... they still getting taller ? if so i would be treating them like they are still in veg and slowly tapering to my bloom nutes

Thanks for keeping my head up. My problem is I'm sitting around collecting a check so I waht them all day long. Funny thing is I get paid more sitting on my ass then I did working. Lol...but as far as height last time I check my tallest was 17 in. Fox farm last nute...I have really been tripping about my next grow.... If you seen the gnats I've gotten from using ff happy frog it's crazy..... I'm Thinking about pro mix but the whole ph thing is driving me crazy... I need something as simple as soil...

add lime definitely ........ i wouldnt go too crazy with the nutes though since its still a auto regardless of what soil its in
