looks like youve got some polyploidy going on or just a really high leaf to calyx ratio
what are you going to do with her?

Not quite sure what to do. I've combed the web looking for this and came up empty handed. Thank you for posting the picture! Is that your grow? Was it good/smokable? I plan to make bubble hash with my trim and contemplated using that bud in the bubble bag hash. Its not nearly as frosty as the other plants (which look normal, this is the only bud like it out of 8 plants), but the frost that is on it is VERY sticky. Its very "glue like" compared to the frostier normal cola buds in my grow. Im very interested in learning more about this if anyone has any experience with this.

not my plant I just googled "polyploidy cannabis flowers"
Ive done some research into the subject and remember following along as someone grew one of these out, he wasnt impressed it took a long time to flower and was a haven for rot plus most of the bud was unsmokable leaf after the dry.... sooo not the best news lol
but maybe yours just has a high leaf ratio.
I wish I could be more help but ive never grown one myself :/

I believe I may have read the same grow journal as you after being able to google the correct terms. Probably not the best for smoking, though mine does appear frostier/more bud than his. I know I wont be waiting 14 wks for maturity like he did though....yikes!

I thought it looked badass too but after reading how shitty it was for flowers I kind of changed my mind lol

A few of her hairs are just now beginning to turn red. She does seem way less mature than the rest so what dude was saying about flower time seems quite accurate at the moment. I'll most likely use it for bubble hash once everything else is ready for harvest. It pains me to do it this way since she seems like she would be a heavy producer. Shes like the size of a baseball bat, and heavy as hell.

So, just a curious question.

Your plant has a condition that causes its fruit to be enlarged. I see there is a lot of leaf in there. Would it be possible to start again with a clone of that plant, and just pluck the sugar leaves as the plant grows? That would let you take advantage of the larger bud that polyploidy seems to be causing.

Am I right in assuming that would work? Or are plants with this condition just not worth keeping? Seems like large fruits would be something you would want in this case.

**edit**

Also, who did you buy the WW from? I just planted one from Nirvana I think. Would be killer if I ended up with something similar :P

Those leaves are completely engrained in the entire bud structure. I honestly dont see it being possible to pluck the sugar leaves out. That would be cool though. The strange part about this concerning cloning is that not all of the buds on this plant suffer from this. The plant has 4 colas where it has been topped twice and only 2 of them are like this? From my understanding the guys grow journal i read from start to finish regarding his poly plant was all poly.
Im not sure what would happen if I were to clone it?? Got me thinking now rentaldog.
I got these seeds from ****ILGM**** and ******I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THEM.******

No, cuz its a really thick dense bud, really even before it is "budded up". I'll see if I can dig up a pic from early flower and you will see what I mean. It looked like a really dense pineapple top even in veg.
