Should I Shut Down Asap?

OK I have a 1000 watt quantum ballast combo. Its been running for about 3 weeks now. So yesterday I see the cable company a couple a couple of houses down from mine. I pay it no mind. Later that day my neighbor tells me they shut off his illegal cable. I've heard digital ballasts causing radio frequency interference (rfi). I don't have cable or internet services so I never noticed paid it any attention. So I decided to check with the am station later that day. Surely as soon as I turned the corner my clear radio station became fuzzy. When I pulled in my driveway no station at all. I still didn't panic until today I saw either the cable company or light was parked in front of the house again doing something up the poles. Now I'm nervous as hell. What should I do? Don't wanna shut down asap cause my autos only have a few more weeks before harvest. Plus I have 10 photos that are ready for flip. Maybe I'll go to my local hydro store and see if I can trade my practically new digital setup for an older magnetic setup. Help. I don't know what to do.

Digital ballasts only cause rfi when there is an opening or break in the cable system in your home , you must be hooked into the cable system for your ballast to cause rfi , if you don't have cable it's highly unlikely your single ballast is causing rfi in the cable chain .

If it were your home causing the problem the cable company puts an rf filter on your line & block all but basic service .

Chill out , your not hooked up to cable & are fine .

Are you sure it's your grow that is putting up the flags for the cable Co. ?
No not really sure. Just that when the next door neighbors bootleg cable gets cut off and I have static all in my am stations then cable/ electric company comes working on the poles in front of my house I started getting a little nervous.

Is it even safe to get basic cable in my home. Will that cause rfi? I just moved here on the first of march and had planned on getting cable/internet.

Yes it's safe to get cable , just be sure all connections are tight with no open ended connections like a splitter with an unused outlet or cable in another room not attached to a device , rfi can only enter breaks in the cable chain .

Just make sure all your connections are tight & ten 1,000 watt digital ballasts won't fuck with the cable .

OK. I do have a spare bedroom with a cable cord but its not hooked up. Not even a TV in there. So just put get a small TV and hook the cable up to that if I want cable. Does it work the same for satellite TV?

Rfi causes the same problems with cable or satellite , only difference is with satellite the rfi don't corrupt the signal being received by other satellite owners & just fucks up your reception , with cable it interferes with the interactive functions of all cable users on your main feed line .
