Following, Iv always loved WW! And 4x4-5x5 1k watt is usually the indoor setup I go with. Can't wait to see the outcome!
Sweet, thanks for following! I trimmed all the excess leaves off last night, and now it's just a sea of nodes! Such a beautiful sight!

Here's my autos. I switched the lights to 12/12 last night to try to induce flowering (maybe they're not reliable autos), and they're barely starting to show sex today. The thing is I don't think a single dark period would trigger them... So I'm not sure if I should leave them under 12/12 or go back to 20/4...

Here's the SCROG post trim! probably need one more trim after the stretch is done!

Looking NICE man! Keep up the good work. LOL @ dropping the scrog screen on top of the girls. I guess it beats dropping and catching in mid air a 2 gallon coco smart pot 8 weeks into flower. She didn't skip a beat (luckily). It will strengthen them in the long run as the plant tissue repairs itself slightly thicker. Then again, scrogging just holds them up regardless :). Not to say we do any of these things on purpose.... lol.

I take clones of ALL unknown females because I've had some of the ugliest smelling/lanky growing seedlings end up amazing after harvest. Even two seeds from the same plant/breeder pack can be very different phenotypes. So it's good you took a lot of clones! If it Herman Cain's partway through, have it labeled so you can chunk the cut too.

Nice veg times too. Those things were monsters before flower. I can only imagine the yield will be insane :). Keep that air flow going and the humidity down. Dehumidifier is worth the extra heat output in humid places.

Ouch, nice fuck up on the smart pot! lol And yeah they tops healed fine and they're almost TOO thick! And the silica I'm feeding them is working magic, I highly recommend it! It makes the branches so more flexible and almost unbreakable. As for yield, I expect at least 1lb out of the scrog, and hopefully at least 1lb on the SOG (the clones). 2-3 pounds total yield would make me SO happy!

The SCROG after the last defoliation. I might need to go in one more time and remove some branches if its too dense.

Here's my Autoflowers before I trimmed them.

And after. 5 are confirmed female, 3 I'm not sure yet, and 2 were males and got the chop.
100_2906.JPG
Here's those males. Sucks that they had to die, but man check out those roots!

I'm getting some really weird results from my clones. 2 of the plants have almost 100% rooting success, while the other 2 plants have closer to 20% rooting. I don't know if that's from the genetics of the plants or some other factor.

As always could be a variable amount of reasons, however, its mostly due to genetics, or who ever cutt the clones is a tard and just didn't do it efficiently.. Maybe they didn't use rooting hormone? No idea.. Sounds like a variable youll just never know unfortunately...

Well I cut all the clones myself from 4 parents, but I did them all the same way. I cut em from the plant, put em in water, cut em again at a 45, and dipped them in clonex. So I think it's probably genetics, but maybe some of them didn't get nodes inside the rooting cube. Roots won't just start from the stem will they?

Well I just tried to email Shay from NatureSweetNothings (where I got all the autoflower seeds), and it seems her website is shut down. I hope everything's okay over there :/

So here's the clones I transplanted into their buckets. They're drying out but I think they'll mostly recover.

The 5 autoflowers that turned out female. We've got: 1 Cotton Candy Kush, 1 Diablo, 1 Amnesia Haze, and 2 White Lights. The Cheesus ended up being 2/2 males so they both died.

And here's the scrog. All 4 plants are showing some nice bud sights with pretty white pistils!

Ya the roots grow form the stem. To be honest Ive done clones before without 45 angle under water and without hormone as a test, and it works, they all rooted. However, it's just 80% more effective if done the way you expressed. But ya sounds like genetics, that pretty strange...

Btw the update are look sexy ;) how much longer until the big babies are done?

The SCROG is just over 2 weeks into flower, so about 6 more weeks until the chop, then about 5-7 days of drying, then it can honestly be smoked without any curing, but it does get better with age! The autos I have no clue about, or if I will even be able to let them finish. And these clones will probably get flipped to flower either this Friday or next Friday.

this is really scary. I opened up one of the buckets in the RDWC (as I do periodically), and there's some light cream/yellow colored foam or goo on the upper walls of the bucket. I have no clue if this is something bad (algae, bacteria, root rot), or if it's just some left over foam from when I do a flush of Herculean Harvest. The plants themselves still look super healthy, and I have everything right with the reservoir as far as I can tell. Temps never go above 70, there is NO light getting in the res, I've got air stones in each bucket, my pH is always within 5.5-6.1.... Like there's no real way it can be bad, right? I poured some Hydrogen Peroxide in my res anyways just to kill any living things that might be in there. I'll be adding some microbe tea in a day or 2 after the peroxide is gone so it doesn't kill the microbes I add.

The autoflowers are in their new home under an old CFL rig I built.

And here's the scrog. The roots on these plants are scaring the hell out of me. They're covered in a light colored slime... yet the top of the plants still look healthy (maybe my healthiest plants ever...) I have no idea what's going on....

Looking good bro but yeah them roots look a bit off don't think... how offend are you changing the water out... ?

Well I added the pool shocker, and I also added another air pump so I have 2 air pumps and 4 air stones. Just a couple hours later my res is getting a cloudy tan, which I assume is the slime coming off the roots. I will be changing the res in 24 hours and we'll see what everything looks like.

On the other hand, the plants are drinking over 2 gallons a day which is definitely a good thing!

Lots of crap floating in the res right now (which is a good thing), and they might be drinking even more crazy than I though! After like 10 hours I had to top it up because I noticed it had lost an inch already! I might need a float valve to keep this thing from getting too dry.

Okay so I've got my room temps back in check, so hopefully that helps my roots some. The chemical sterilizer I added seems to be helping, but I'm gonna drain and rinse the res and run some enzymes and beneficial bacteria now that the temps are okay. Fingers crossed, I think everything is going to be okay.
