Very " frostilicious " buds ! Agree to keep eye on triches , looking good. Also some strains don't amber up. How old are they ( weeks / days ) ?
I put in 11/13 light cycle at last 2 week to lengthen dark time ( first week and 10/14 last week ) it pushes a little more swelling to the buds ( especially the terminal colas ).

yes always watch trichomes but he should give it a flush in around 2 weeks imho and flushing will show the plant using everything it has available to push into the last swell hoping to attract some pollen to reproduce before it dies
I agree 100% man good debate thanks, most ppl just start bein assholes and not maken sence. Lets hope he takes it in and gets a good harvest from this

I would cut them down when the microscope shows 10%+ of amber, and not one minute before then.
Anyone who claims to be able to look at a picture and tell if a plant is ready is lying to themselves.
The most noted breeders in the world have said it is impossible to tell unless you check trichs with a scope.

Well, unless you listen to that idiot Rosenthal who says if it has a smell it is ready to cut.

Unless you grow from clones that you have run for a while. I have 4 strains that I run now. I know when I like them harvested and have projected dates written on each pot. But Im pretty damn accurate at just looking at them with my eye balls and guessing when to harvest.
