So it was nothing but a scam site selling fake seeds lol
The seeds sprout, and they are cannabis, so they're not "Fake". If you look at the way she claims to breed them, it's obvious that errors could easily occur. It's like I said in some of my very first posts, the best thing to do is assume that they are just going to be random bagseed, only buy them if that is good enough for you, and then be pleasantly surprised if they're anything else. To think that the seeds would be perfect replicas of the strains they came from, at 1/20th the price, is just naive. The way I look at it is, if you want a specific strain to grow perfectly as described, then actually shell out the money for it. However, if you want some bagseed-quality (Which means unknown quality, not necessarily poor quality) beans to dick around and try shit out with, and you don't have any actual bagseed, this is a totally viable option. Personally, they are fulfilling their purpose perfectly, which was, to me, to give me plants that I can hack up and test different topping and cropping and LST techniques on without worrying about the fact that the plant I'm fucking around with came from a seed I paid $10+ bucks for.

just because a seed costs more doesnt mean it has to be any better it comes down to the person selling it not the price

Yeah, but the fact of the matter is, there is real Gucci and there is knockoff Gucci, and the people who buy knockoff Gucci KNOW that it's knockoff and don't complain when the straps break. We all know these seeds aren't coming from the breeders, if they were she would be losing VAST amounts of money selling them for less than she bought them. The site has been clear that these are homegrown knockoffs, and that comes with certain risks. If you didn't know that, you weren't paying attention, because it's not a fact that anyone has tried to hide. If anyone seriously expected these seeds to be perfect replicas of the strains they came from, that is, to me, laughably naive. The bottom line is, they are cheap, they are viable, they are cannabis.

Thought you guys might find this interesting, my probably-female CoCo Kush is expressing tri-branching nodes as opposed to the normal pairs on several of her branches. Seems there are some desirable traits floating around in these beans somewhere, even if it takes a bit of crossing to really exploit them.

Looking good Ace. After I chopped the three down last week I screwed around and dropped my light on on of the mangos. Down to two plants now. They have stretched to over 30 inches now and are still growing. Ive goy a strawberry blue seedling and an Afghani and 2 kaya golds that I hope sprout soon. Going to run them on a 12/12.

you guys see that nature sweets website is gone now lol
I noticed after you said something I wonder if they got shut down it was just a matter of time... on the other hand look at a few of my plants from NSN are doing. I topped them a few days ago and a few of them look FIM'ed the one looks like it is branching off in a Y like it should, but it is still growing the main stalk like it was never topped. The other plant is has a shot ton of branches growing in.

Let it go brother. Like Ace said you have real and you have fake. It was a roll of the dice. Do I wish my seeds would have been feminized? Hell yeah. But at the end of the day I paid less then a buck for a seed. Grow them out,LST them, top them out, try hydro, go 12/12 with them, which is what I am doing. We were all warned at the start of this thread to beware. When we want fancy genetics we will have to shell out a little more money. I dumped all of my NSN beans together and will have some fun with them.

So I FINALLY found a picture of some NSN plants in flower posted by a guy over at GC. It's either "Malawi Gold" or "Northern Lights", I think it's the Malawi but I could be wrong. Either way, doesn't look too shabby to me. Certainly not hemp, so we can squash that rumor right now haha

Id like to have that beauty in my closet. The two kaya golds or the Afghani didn't sprout so I started 2 "purple power" and a kc brains damage. All three of those are up along with the strawberry blue. I think I will try main lining a couple of NSN seeds next time.Sounds like she folded her shop up. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow of the " buddhas dream" and mango.

Somebody had their outdoor seed and figured a way to make lemonade out of lemons.. The "a" seeds are the "b" seeds are the "c" seeds.. In other words the "malawi" is the "blueberry" is the "bubblegum".. Could be decent genetics, but the fems aren't fems and the autos aren't autos so use your heads..

I actually disagree. I do think she started with different strains, only because out of the plants that I have started from NSN, the indicas (like the northern lights) have all had very fat indica leaves whereas the sativas I've started (like the Diablo) have thin sativa leaves. If I had to guess, I would think that she didn't count on all the potential cross pollination that can happen, so when she tried to created feminized seeds she didn't realize that they could have ALSO been hit by the regular male pollen since her grow area doesn't appear to be the biggest. And as for the autos, seeds created from autos the way she describes making the seeds will make it so that only 25-75% of the offspring will express the autoflowering trait, depending on whether the Autoflowering allele is dominant or recessive (25% if it is recessive, 75% if it is dominant).

Quick question for you Ace or any of you other guys. Is it to late to trim some of the lower foliage off? I've read several different views on this subject and really don't know what to do. Dont want to take a chance on screwing my plants or my yield up.
