The name of the thread says it all. On the area 51 website it says 18-24inches and also 12-18 inches in the faq so I don´t know whats what. I got the lights today and have them hanging 16inches away from the tops in veg. Anyone who has experience with the RW 75 have any input?

Recommended operating heights: 18"-24" in veg mode for vegging plants. 12"-18" in flowering mode for flowering plants.

Looks to me like it says if you have a seedling or a clone place them 18-24" above the plants.
If they are a bit larger (you have to determine when your plants can take the intensity) and vegging 12-18"
And 12-18" once flipped to flower mode

I have my panels as close as 6" sometimes, no burn, but a smaller footprint for sure. I seem to get the best results right around 12-14".

stick around 12 inches and watch how they react, you can get pretty close as long as they don't spend a long period of time within <8inches before bleaching

That's reality.everyone give opinion and u have too sift through it and put it to practice! Trial and error my friend. I have post. Back in Feb March that show 4oz plants growing right up too the 150watt panel!

When u get into the 3 or 4 hundred watt condensed panels is when you really need to watch and start little high and work down.

Sure they can grow closer but the focus of the lenses makes the most intense and widest footprint why would you block the lenses from reaching that point of over all intensity let's ask @Eraserhead
