Hard for me to get defensive about some person you have invented to vent against. But, wow it took less than an hour for your first layed in stone, university studied, photon "fact" to shrivel and die. Where's your refutation? Who's playing the Guru again? Dishing out bullshit, claiming fact.

But yeah, thanks! The current IS looking real nice, Oh and not to quibble but my first grow was kickass smoke (yep maybe that dang MH) and this grow of course will net me " about a pound". Again, you paint me as having made claims that I did not make so you can argue against it. You also discovered that you fucked up in your previous accusation so you had to hit google, but your argument is not even with me. I made no photon claims, only pointed out that yours were refuted and when your target was not an easy one you folded. Your article's claim about HPS vegetative growth advantage is not even the subject here nor in dispute here. We are talking trichs.

Are you speaking for plants in general or for this particular strain. My hijack auto seems to be putting out a ton of resin and trichs (picture below) and is a week behind and in the same tent. The kind does in fact utilize uv along with the rest of their spectrum of blues and reds.

Formation of trichs is genetic, but it is triggered by light. Some genetics need stronger UV lights (indicas), some don't (ruderalis). But the potency and resin production will be much higher with strong UV lights (ie the sun).

If your light source has UV spectrum, then the problem is genetics, it requires stronger UV light IMO...

Thanks tripper for giving actual advice, but I quite like the bantering as well...let's keep that going : ) I usually can't get 2 ppl to respond to my posts, so I don't mind the hijack

I'm planning on letting this girl marinade as long as it takes. Is it possible that I got a dud??? I flushed down to 1200 ppms. Should I have flushed even more?

That is a very sativa looking plant. The leaves the structure of the plant and nugs the amount of Time it's been flowering and how far it is only along and flower to leaf ratio all tell me that is a sativadom plant. Some sativas don't get very kiefy instead there a more sticky sappy like deal. I see some tricomes on the pistils not very much thought.. the fan leaves comming off the buds have no tricomes though. It's just the strain. Hope she smokes good..
