I actually think it's because in Murica peeps be trying yo plug stuff into any
Umm if you were listening they said in that video that a room of the appartment had been converted for growing. I'm guessing they didn't mean a closet, there's a good chance that moron had like 4-6+ 1000w lights going in that room.

On a side note I'm using a magnetic ballast, not digital, so it looks a fair bit diff from the pictures posted on this thread
its not about the size of the room. It's about the amperage of the circuit. The size of the wire and age/condition. I mean, chances are you might be a'right. But that 1 in a 1000 chance you are not ok, could kill you or a neighbor.

Just saying bro. I would not chance that or want to live next door to someone who would. I think you need a different crib with more adequate electrical structure to attempt what you want to attempt.

You should have considered these things before purchasing any stuff.

Honestly I think I've made the decision to just grow with the LED. My yield will not be as good but even I can't justify potentially burning down my own place just to grow some weed. that's a 280w(actual) LED, 115w 6" 435CFM fan running on an 18/6 cycle and a 140w 55" samsung LED TV running only an hour or 2 a day on average and a 750w computer running 24/7 but from what I hear computers only take a lot of watts in starting up but their idle or even gaming watts are fairly low, like in the 1-200 range.
