First Time For Everything

Hey I've been having the same problems with my 1st auto ww as I had with one wappa plant a month ago. I wound up cutting the wappas large fan leaves off where the deficiency was the worse. I've also gave it several calmag feedings and now its almost indistinguishable from my other girls. Just hate that its this late in flowering. I'm sure it'll have some impact on final product.

Well I'm thinking about adding a couple teas during flower. Not sure yet though. I wanna also add some waterings with molasses.
i use 1 & a half teaspoons to a gallon when i use molasses now. i tried a tablespoon, & had a deficiency it seemed like on the particular strain i was feeding at the time. molasses works very well.

i would like to know what effect it will have on final product. i've read about the adverse effects of too much/too little n,p,k. i dont know the effects on final product when it comes to being deficient in secondary nutes.

I usually use 1 tbls per gallon of water. In flower I use 1 1/2 to 2 tbls per. Only a couple times during veg to help stimulate beneficials. Then middle to late flower to keep them pushing.

Well for me it didn't affect potency. Not sure if it affected yield because it still yielded decent for an auto. It did affect flowering time however. I pulled it at 100 days and it could've gone another 10 to 14 days.

14 weeks for an auto? oh man, & it could have gone for 15? what was the color of the trichs at the time of chop? remind me of the strain again please, i'd like to pick it up just to see how long it would take for me.

Yep 100 days. Trichs were about 75% cloudy, 20% clear and 5% amber. I like mine about 10 to 15% amber. It was an auto northern lights by nirvana. It grew to about 27" and yielded like 62 grams dry. Not counting a few grams i pulled to test. Had two in the tent the second one was about 18" and yielded an oz in 65 days. Here's a pic of the bigger one.

This was right when I was chopping it down. As you can see it lost tons of leaves the last few weeks due to an unknown deficiency. Overall both smoked the same. Just one took longer but produced better yield. They were grew under the solar storm 440 led light. BTW that's only a 2 gallon air pot.

Ok the deficiency has not gotten any worse but it kinda beat my girl up pretty bad. Lots of the top leaves and some of the bottom leaves are showing it. I took my finger and crushed off some of the parts where the leaves were crispy and dead. Not sure if cal/mag has been helping or if the plant/ soil gas straightened itself out. Just gonna wait and see what happens. Here a pic taken yesterday.IMG_20150430_215539088.jpg

Another bad thing happened yesterday as I was taking the plants out to water them. As I put a wappa back in I heard a crunch when I spun the plant. Come to find out I had torn a nice size branch completely off. It about almost the length of my arm. Wtf. Another grower mistake. I tried to prop it and stake it together but its hopeless. Im planning on starting flowering Sunday but not sure about this girl. Not sure if it will stress her to the point oh herming. What does anyone think. Flower her anyway or flower the others and leave her in the veg tent another week or so. Here's a pic of the branch.

Leave it in Veg, top it a bit over the next 3 weeks, feed it lightly don't over do it and leave it be. Your fine!

Well moon I can definitely leave it in veg but I cannot control feeding at this point. All 10 photos are in 7 gallon pots with 40% super soil. But I'll definitely take your advice and top it another time or two before I flip it. Thanks.

Cool you can always add some worm castings to the soils top and it will act as a mulch and break down little by little, all the way through the rest of what ever you have planned. Do you man looking good!

Well a bit of bad news. As I mentioned before I broke one of the branches on one of my girls. Today I tried tying down some branches. Didn't work as I hoped. The branches were already stiff and not very flexible. Managed to destroy 2 more girls. I'll never wait this late again to try some sort of lst. But I really have no choice. Its either try tying or have them grow much too tall for my tent. They were all over 3 feet tall. Not counting the pots. I would've never made it.

So now I only have 4 critical kush and 2 wappa. I put 3 in one tent and 3 plus the smaller starbud in the dark tent. Just flipped to 12/12. Here comes the count down. They look great though and though I'm disappointed at my goof up, I'm content in seeing these 7 girls switch to flower today. Here's the before and after pics of one of the girls.IMG_20150504_085413049.jpgIMG_20150504_085256434.jpg

The 5 autos are coming well. In fact one of them have the hairs starting to recede and a few red hairs popping up. I checked the trichs though and they're still about 75% clear. Will keep checking them every other day until they finish. Two of the other autos are right behind this one and one the two other ones seem to be dragging ass. Lol.
