So, i made a grow box out of a fridge cardboard box, and im putting it in my shed.. but my shed doesnt have any windows and im wondering if thats going to be a problem with fresh air and exhaust. My shed is 9'-13'-8.5' and my grow box is around 4'-3'-8'. Im only looking to grow 2 plants at the same time, and the shed stays cool through the summer, but i still dont know what to do. Any ideas?

Just realized this should have gone under grow setups, sorry.

Make "windows" and screen them off. Could even put a filter where you're intake is. Just a plain air filter to keep your intake air clean. I don't use one, but I'm in the house.

Lots of critters and mold like sheds. At least my shed.

Cool, I always thought about doing that but I wasn't sure how to get electricity to my shed without having long extension cords going through my yard which wouldn't be safe or very stealthy. How are you planning on supplying power to the shed?

Doesnt take that much work it dig a trench and lay a pvc tube to run wire through.
Depending on how far away your shed is.
I would run an exhaust out to regulate the temps and get rid of some smell.
The shed is probably far from air tight so it might leak enough to be considered a passive intake.
U will need to pre treat for bugs n shit.

Good luck take some pics

This is pretty odd. Outdoor with lights lol. If you are using cfl's i would think cutting a hole above the shed for sunlight would give you better results even if covered by glass and 90% cheaper on the extra electricity spent. If i had the shed i would put a regulated solar charger on a 12v car battery and use that for 20 watts of cooling.. Around 150cfm.

Run a sub panel out to the shed from your main panel

I use dust shrooms for my intake on my air cooled hoods, they work great.
do they make them at half the price? Lol i have to get on that dust shroom! I pull fucking gnats through my screen filtered intake with a sock at the end! Those little bastards always find a way in my cab makes me cringe everytime haha

Unfortunately, i think i may have to run extention cords.. its got a light switch, but idk if an outlet is out there..
I cant cut a hole in the shed because this house, and the shed, are a rental..

Cfl lights are probably what im gonna go with, and a carbon filter is probably brilliant. But givin the size of the shed, only growing 2 plants, and its defiantly not air tight, so i think ill be ok on the oxygen part.

How would i do a dry run? wish just a normal, household plant? Like flowers?

Just pop some non-fem beans. You can practice on the males and see what kind of bugs will screw with your test run. Im just gonna say this right now and get it over with. Bugs bugs bugs! Be prepared.

Also, can you screw in a light bulb and check for power? If so just shut the breaker off for your shed and wire up an outlet to the switch.
