Jobs, construction and what not always require you to travel places all the time ?

Your information is useful though for future use when I am able to have a car and a license again, that way I'll be able to travel. Becoming a construction worker will be my goal for the next 8 to 12 months

I tried looking for construction work on my own but all the places near me for some reason require you to be either 21 or older, or able to drive different places everyday.

Guess i'll just have to see if Applebee's, braums, or chick fil a works out.

My dad was a Union iron worker worked his whole life building shit in and around Boston started getting
$50 K a year as a foreman and died a few years later. I could get a job their no problem the boss was my dads friend from way back but I got bigger plans and you can't pay me enough to do that shit. I'm scared of heights fuck building that shit my uncle fell of a damn building.

Sure some construction is a lot safer Iron workers are one of the top 5 most dangerous jobs and a plumber makes more money I know a guy makes $80 K around Boston area his dad does even better but they got their own businesses can't really do that easily with iron work probably pay half a million for a crane alone. lol

But yeah if I where to have a 1-2 year plan to get into the trades I'd go to school for electrician personally just would be nice to know all about setting up a 20,000 watt grow and shit plus I'm sure you would make out like a bastard with legal states especially MA come 2017 shit will blow up if they get legalization.

I'm a union metalstud framer(drywall/lather) by trade, so i've worked plenty around iron workers, in fact, have worked right along side them many times. I know a couple also;-)
Out of all my years in the trades, I've never been on a job where an iron worker died. But, have been on two jobs where someone died. They were both in my trade:-(. One of them was my friend:-(. Now, i'm not saying an iron worker has a safe job, but rather, it's mostly ALL dangerous for most of the tradesman on a job.
I got in first. My older brother saw me making some decent coin and wanted in, i told him don't get into my trade, it doesn't pay as much as plumber/pipe fitters, electricians, or tin knockers. He chose plumbing. My other brother chose electrician, my cousin is a tin-knocker. They make waaaaay more than what we do in my trade, but don't break their back as much. I'm happy for them, Good call

When I was a kid fresh outta high school, I was already growing bud:-) , but I needed a legit job. My grandpa always said you should either go to school, or get in the trades. I fucking hated school!
There's nothing wrong with getting into construction. Or any other blue collar job for that matter. IMO

Well I am no longer unemployed, now time to work towards the next goal, becoming a environmental scientist, I'm making 8.50 an hour this week at braums after training $9 an hour kinda sucks cause I'ma have to wait a while to move out again.

don't be in a hurry to move out. you need to bank at least three months of living costs before you cld even consider such a thing. how much money will you be able to save by fall? I'll check back in a month to see if you are still employed. good luck. you're welcome for the encouragement fucker!

He would not kick my ass easily at all I'll say that he will have some bruises and swellings before he knocks me out trust me it will not be an easy fight for him.
