I'm growing for my health as well. Can you post a picture? Can you rub them off? What is your humidity? What is the temperature? What are you growing? What are you growing it in? I have a lot more questions. Please give more information so we all can take a look at her.

Powdery mildew for sure imo. Its caused by high humidity and loks like some one dumped tiny salt crystals on the leaves

white spots are either a magnanese deficiency which is caused by root bounding and soil drying out too often

or white flies. They live under the leaves like mites. The only way to get rid of them is add lots of fans. Create a windy environment for a day or 2. They hate wind.

mites leave yellowish / light green spots

the reason white flies make white spots is when they feed on the leaf. They release honey dew back into the plant. they lay eggs on the bottom leaf. I used to get them on my basil outside.

also adding neem seed meal will help with the long term.once it breaks down. The azadiractin in neem will attack the plant triggering its auto immune system. Takes a couple weeks to happen. But same idea as using a virus to cure a disease or using snake venom to counter act a snake bite.

if ots blotchy and rubs off then pm. Diluted lemon juice will take care of that. No rh fluctuations and plenty of airflow will prevent pm.

You can post a picture. My avatar is my plant. I'm living in an area that is ignorant to the power of the queen in green. Posting pictures helps. By what you said I'd say mold. Humidity shit!!!

imo = in my opinion. If the plant is still in veg, I use powdered suffer to spray. All it does is change the ph of the leaf so no mildew can grow. A long time solution though is to fix your humidity problem because this issue will keep returning if you do not do so.

What should i do to fix it? Is it going to ruin the plant?

high humidity does not cause pm. Its the fluctuation in humidity that does or its poor genetics.

diluted lemon juice or brew a tea of neem seed meal. Or brew a tea of horse tail.

all those will get rid of pm.

keep your humidity levels constant.

Well im right next to an ocean so its already verry windy.

But it seems like it could be the white flys and im not sure what PM means.

pm is.powdery mildew

shake the plant. If white flies fly up. Then you know. Check the bottom of the leaves. White flies are white and very visible. They leave white eggs. mites will be brown and very small. You can see them moving around on the bot to. Of the leaves. Red mites are good mites. They're predatory and eat other bugs and organic material. Then die off when their food source is gone.
