Haha, @Scotch089 ...thanks a lot man, but I'm far from the masta, haha.... I appreciate it though:)

I agree with everything @PSUAGRO. has said ( unsuccessfully tried to delete that period waaaay too many times before I realized it was part of his name o_O). You can get drooping from overwatering, underwatering, heat, etc.

I use the finger test a lot on the non-blumat pots. Basically, I concentrate on not too much/not too little water as equally important. I try not to drown the roots, which is easy because I have small pots and they can't really hold much anyway. Furthermore, the clay is porous which helps air things out. If too much water comes out of the bottom, I empty the saucer instead of letting the pot sit in the standing water. Then, I basically use the finger test often (I just kind of press down on the soil and see if it is spongy and moist or dry...it turns into the finger test if the top layer of soil is dry, lol). I don't let the soil ever get "dry," if I can help it.

Stressing the plant slows growth and ultimately affects the yield, so it's best to avoid both forms of water stress if you can, imho. It seems to work for me...I try to give the plants a stress-free life all around, which is why I top them when the growth is so small...the plant barely notices. It's not really noticeable when you can veg out the mistakes, but you can see it in 12/12 from seed for sure.

yeah 12/12 from seed is similar to running autos=== no room for error

It's been said numerous times, but you should definitely make sure your medium is highly aerated , especially under leds for best results......

keep up the great grows mc.............:weed:

Thanks PSU, I'll try my best :)

Here's a quick update on the garden. The flower tent is packed full with Grinspoon and a lanky GTH! The Grinspoon is showing some frost already :weed: The C99 is still fattening up, but is almost done. Once she's gone, I'm going to put the Bodhi Tree of Life into the flower tent...still no sex shown yet......
Here's the 'spoon:

And here's the veg tent:) The rose is doing well and loving life in there, so is the ganja:) Those fan leaves are enormous. I got a banana plant for some reason, so it's in triage in the veg tent too because it wasn't looking too healthy when I got it. My plan is to hang a 3590 from my ceiling in the other room once it gets bigger for some supplemental light. Eventually, I want to grow it about 5 feet tall if I can. Ate some spinach leaves on a sandwich, lol.

I have fruited many banana plants.
Not sure what zoned your in but I was very successful with some selected varieties outdoors in the ground in zone 9
Cavendish is very frost/cold sensitive
Looks like yours could use some nitrogen. They love hydro fert heavy on potassium

Thanks for the tip. I'm in zone 7, so it won't make it through the winter. It will probably be just ornamental and never produce any bananas. It was root bound and crappy looking like that when I got it...I put in that larger pot and fed it too:)

Hey everyone, here's a quick update on the garden:) The tent is super full....The C99 still looks like she could go a while longer, so I don't know if I'm going to take her down this weekend or not. I took some sample buds, so they should hold me over and help reduce the temptation to chop her early...I'm bad about that.

The cup girl is getting some serious bud flop...now she's bending the branches above the support points o_O so I'll have to get something that comes down from the ceiling of the tent to keep the branches upright and from possibly breaking. The Grinspoon is flowering away, and the other GTH#1 is still getting taller........been bending and super cropping her (usually a failed bend, haha) to keep her off of the light.

I'm no longer in a position where I can legally grow it... (it's a bummer). I may throw in a few leftover pepper and tomato seeds; I transplanted my previous batch of veggies over to my momma's place so that she could pick and cook fresh food from the backyard.

I may wait until I get this venture of mine up and running and then set some time aside for the finer things of life ;)

Hey everyone, I had to take some time to support another branch on the cup girl, so I figured I'd take a couple pics of the flower tent. The Grinspoon is still flowering away...she's looking nicer and nicer every day.

I think I'm chopping the cup girl this week:
