Hello Everyone,

I would like to start with how I love to grow from seed and so I will be documenting a lot of different strains over the course of my time here. Please leave my area to my own postings as this is the only section of the forum that gives one a private spot to post. Feel free to take a peek at what is going on and keep updated if you wish but I would really appreciate it if you kept my journal mine.

With every life comes a beginning, time to pop some seeds and get this thread rolling. I am going to be starting with 5 different strains as we are hunting for a prime time stallion and some fine herb.

Here are the strains I am popping tonight

Mile High - Brothers Haze - (Apollo 13 x Super Silver Haze)

Everything has been planted and labeled, they are under a ho t5 system to begin their journey. The light isn't close enough to bother them but it will keep it a little warmer up top while the heat map keeps their bottoms warm.

While this is the most boring part of the experience I will try to make it exciting by throwing in some pictures of some other happenings that is going on right now.

I know it might seem like it has been quite some time since I updated this thread but there is nothing too exciting to report. Out of all there is only a brothers haze and a diesel fire that I am waiting to pop up. The others are looking nice and I have taken a picture that I will get to uploading soon.

This part of the mission is slower, but when the buds start forming it will get more exciting. I also have a fewJackberry F4 and one Sannies Jack F8. Found a male so far in the bunch I am thinking I might take him and powder some ladies. Who knows though :P it is too late tonight to do a sophisticated update so I will see you all soon.

Picture Intermission #1

I decided to start with the Jackberry, I can only upload 10 images at a time so I will have to make multiple posts. Here are the 5 teens of Jackberry, repotted them today and #1 is clearly showing his stud parts so I am keeping him around for now and might use him in the near future. Also have a Sannies Jack that is growing very very nicely. Hang tight I got the babies in the next update.

Just put another round of seeds into the root riot cubes and they shall begin their life soon. Here is a list of what is coming up :).

4 Female Seeds - Ice
5 Mace Genetics - KGDP x Goji OG Open Pollination
5 Area 51 Genetics- Excalibur
5 Of a gifted cross- True Og x Abba Zabba
4 King Arthur's Cross - Night Train x GSC (Forum Cut)

The others are doing fine as well, not much to update on them other than they grew a little :P.


@elkamino The only plan is to let the plants decide, the winners will be kept the losers will be wept over. Not sure how long of a veg I will do, when there is space another one will go into flower.

I use all LEDs and one cfl panel in the veg tent. Mainly 300watt panels for the main area and 100-300w for the smaller areas. I may or may not go into more detail as time progresses. I like to keep a little to myself.

Everything is still looking alright, we lost Mario due to my dog knocking it over and breaking him/her. But Luigi is still alive and well, the rest of the seedlings are ready for transplant and it is up to me to find them a spot :P.

Poor babies are fighting root aphids, most of the bugs have been eradicated using safer soap and azamax. Got the yellow strips of nasty paper too so all should be well soon. This update was just a bunch of pictures to hold you over while you wait.

The trays have candyland clones in them, they are having trouble acclimating.

Wow it has really been quite some time since I have posted... well I lost some of my gals, the Candyland weren't having trouble acclimating they were carrying root aphids that were eating them alive. BUT since I had them in the red balls and their roots were not all the way to the bottom of the pot I had no fucking clue it was going on.

Breaks my heart, I am really sad today. I have one Candyland in soil thank god and she is protected in her tent. I won't lose her but I am already over a month behind. I will update you all soon on the status of all the others. They are fighting the good fight too, only they won't lose!
