Will this light setup work?

alright this is my first thread so dont blow up on me. i have a 35 watt HPS fixture, ballast, and bulb that i found. its the like the lights you see in modern parking lots except i took the shield off so the bulb is exposed. i also have two 26 watt fluorescent bulbs, fixtures, and ballast. i mounted the lights together on a piece of metal and have it hanging above 6 seedlings in my small closet with white walls. obviously this is enough to start them but my question is will this be enough light to grow them about 1 or 2 feet and fully bud? i can remove some pants if i need to...

lol i spent 0 cash on this setup and im pretty proud of it

the HPS light seems to mess with my camera phone so thats why it looks odd.

i have 250 watt hps i'm scared to set it up, incase of heat problems etc, is your bulb hot at 35watts? maybe a heat shield could help you, i dunno.

thanks for the replys, the bulb does get warm and deff makes the closet a little warmer but i really dont think its getting too hot, ill try to get the temp soon. i do have a large fan in the closet and i open the door a lot to let new air in and such. ill see what i can find about lumens for each light...

it's maybe gonna get you some sparse buds on one plant bro...up your lighting...you can use that to veg a couple of plants for a minute but...you wont be able to flower more than one small plant with that setup

alright im starting to get a little concerned about the heat, the tips of the leaves are starting to curl up and the soil drys out like twice a day. is the heat doing this or something else? i have been using a spray bottle to water them a few sprays a day cause it seems to be drying out so fast, is this enough or too little?

Get a large painting/picture that has glass in the front, remove the picture so its just a frame with glass and put it between the plants and the lights, get a small fan from wally world and attach it above the glass so it blows on the lights and out the door. Poor mans cool tube.

Are you sure the pots are dry 2 times a day? the whole pot? completely dry? you can't just look at the top of the soil, it has to be fairly dry all the way down in the dirt. You will kill your plants by watering them too much.
