thank you, at least somebody is treating this as actually something that is real.
I loved a girl very, very much that suffered from depression.
NO matter what, some days she'd wake up, and simply be miserable.
I will ALWAYS have a very soft spot for those that have that.
I've only been truly depressed once, after a 13yr relationship went south (with no warning signs)
I wouldn't wish that on many people.

The easiest diet ever?
The half diet.
Eat whatever you normally would, only half. Easiest diet ever. remember it takes 20 mins for your stomach to know it's full (assuming you aren't baked)
Or another easy option is whatever your goal weight is, add a zero to it and that's your caloric intake for the day.
for example, your target weight is 160 lbs?
then you want no more than 1600 calories per day.
I had a severe back injury yrs ago, and ballooned to 260 lbs (keep in mind I am 6'4") couldn't move and was doped up on lots of opiates.
So I need to be 190 or 200 lbs, that's my normal weight, I am fairly athletic also, and lift-weights (also recommended for depression)
Also DHEA, dehydroepiondrosterone, is a precursor to testosterone, take a 50mg tablet daily, and also a multivitamin and coquinol is good for energy and depression.
I am sure I misspelled the word, but go look up DHEA.
Munching on almonds and natural beef jerky between meals is good to keep your energy levels consistent.
I also limit my bongloads to like no more than four per day..
