******* 2008 Outdoor Monster Thread ************

Damn, those are def. monsters.... Good work! Mine are not even as close to the size of yours... YET! They have only been in the ground just over a month, so hopefully I will have some monsters before long!
Great looking plants you have there, what strains?

my god, so you have like 10 growin? those are trees =)

Nice GDP plants, I grew a GDP-BB cross for a few years but the green catapillars started to like it more than I did, I do not like to use any type of spray during the flowering stage so I didn't grow them this year. My Dr. said I can have 10 or less mature plants and 8 pounds of manicured pot in my posession at a time. .

Taken 8.4.08

8.5' tall in the middle and goin strong. Outer ring 6.5' tall. MTF (shorter) and Papaya (tall) grown in horse manure compost. 18 plants all Female.

No I have 21 growing in 12 boxes, my wife also has a prop 215 recomendation and can have 10 or less plants, so we can have 20 between us the other 1 is an extra I just couldn't bring myself to kill....

The strains are twilight, super-nova, matamuska thunderfuck, charas, a cross of sativa and indica and last but not least are crooked prairie. this strain is something I picked up in Humboldt county a few years back. I use max-sea 16-16-16 twice a week, 2 tablespoons per gallon and water 15 to 20 gallons per day. I'm growing in raised boxes so I have no problem with drainage. I have 21 plants and have averaged 3 and a half pounds with the crooked prairie in the past, the other plants are bigger than the crooked prairie so I hope to do better? These are all started from seeds and are females, I just pulled a cross last week that hermied on me. I try to have the plants sexed and in the boxes by the end of April, but thats a rarity. I'm not sure of the heights of all these girls but I would say they range from 6 foot to 11 foot? I'll post more pics later of the buds since I just started to bloom them this week. Wish me luck....
aint
you a lucky bastard. I want a 11 ft bush... Humboldt county isnt to far from me, its a great area. especially for OD growers.. good luck especially with harvest.

How do you do your horse manure compost?
Im planning for next year and i have horses.

I never top cuz I live in the country, so no need to hide them. LOL. The max-sea is sold in Garberville Ca, or you can get it from spare time nursery in Willits Ca(online ). I start my plants out at 1 tablespoon per gallon of water and increase as I see fit. Its 3 plus pounds per plant, but you never know if you'll get anything. I'm legal with a prop 215 recomendation but there's the fence jumpers every year. LOL My dogs get lots of excersize during the fall.:peace:
food bill goes down abit for the dogs does it.. haha...lots of luck.. great plants

A little update on my monsters. The one in the first pic is just under 10ft now and the second and third is the same plant and about 8.5 Can't wait for another 6-8 weeks:mrgreen:. Check out the stalk on the first one.:hump: I love the outdoors. All fox farm nutes. Think i'm gonna go with adv nutes next year, the heavy harvest. It seems more practical for me.

I dug into the oldest layer of our manure pile (three years old) and used that. I put it in the planting area the fall before. Nothing special, nothing else added. Pretty much do not need any fertilizer, don't give a hoot about ph's. We use pelletized bedding which turns to sawdust and breaks down readily. When you walk on my bedding area it feels like you are walking on a sponge. Because of the area I germinated seeds indoors and planted in the end of March. Good luck. My plants are not supposed to be this big. But who am I to bitch.
